I hate to break it to you but I LOVE going "eh what can go wrong" I like air units, and if I lose it's not because massing voids is bad, it's because "I didnt have enough"
Why not switch back to adepts against hydras? You already had glaives. You can shade the adepts on the hydras and target them with the voidrays too. Adepts will die and all that is left is roaches vs voidrays.
Yeah this is basically how you play it up to low masters. I lose to this every single time with terran. It doesn't matter that toss is floating 5000 minerals and 3000 gas, their army is unbeatable, they just take more and more bases, 5 cannons and 2 templar per base, they can't lose with 85 apm. You just can't balance this game around all levels, not possible.
I mean you could just make mass vikings with 3 starports, oneshot all their air units, and then land the vikings to kill bases. You dont have to make only marines.
@@TheSuperappelflap if they tell you in advance what they are doing - sure. In a real game by the time you realize what's going on they already have a couple of carriers out, and you don't have the second starport yet. By the time you get to the critical mass of vikings that can one-shot their stuff they have 10 storms and no amount of micro can save you, your vikings just clump too much. So you have to go into late game where they just a-move their stuff back and forth and occasionally storm if they feel like it, and you have to split and stim your bio, use ghosts to EMP very precisely, while microing vikings back and forth.
