I am 4 minutes into this video and boy oh boy 👏👏👏 totally resonating with me !! So far I have been a “general “ person and tbh it has been a pain, high burnout because as you said , it’s like i do actually have a dental client and they require many different form types and customer portals for confidential info as well as portals for each dentist in the practice, pain in the a## sometimes. Then the other extreme I have a landscaping client who just wants a pretty looking site with their beautiful landscaping jobs , simple contact forms and beautiful social media content, nice and easy and while the prices just for these two clients are very different, I much prefer the landscaping type. Think I will be niching down 👍👏👏👏😂

Hey Payton Should you niche down on service as well as target market? For example to start with should it be 1 service for 1 target audience We design websites for pest control companies
He’s not in Europe so he wouldn’t know. I’m in the UK - living in a town of 200,000 people. There’s probably about 5-10 serious web design companies i’ve seen in my area. Some of whom have been in business for 10-20 years. But like the examples he gave, they all have generic things on their website. So the niching down thing is making sense to me.

The more you know about your niche, the better your end product will be. Understanding what the customer wants in their website is an essential part of web design.
Hell Payton , This is sucha genious idea, what are the prequisites to be able to get int the Solo AgnecyBlueprint? example we should be up to date with with platfors ex: weblow, Framer,or Relume, Figma, or maybe non at all? Also I got my first customer that would like me to add a few things to there website. ( Its a church Website) that is out of date and would like for me to add and change things for them. THay do I do after they give me an admin password and used name since I did not build the site and it is not a no code website? Hey Payton! Love the content you are putting out here for free. I just wanted to ask when you first started how many hours did you put in per day to scale. What specific things did you focus on learning and doing which you would say was the most important in pushing you business. I am also trying to do the same with starting a web design agency and reverse engineering the things successful people have done will result in the same outcome. So I am asking in hopes of that. Would really appreciate if you could give an in-depth answer. This could also just be another video idea😉😉

If you are building a site for the customer (be it Webflow or Framer), then do you consider the cost of the subscription within the $3000 that you mentioned? Because considering a scenario where the client already has a domain and if you want to add that custom domain to your Framer/Webflow website, it requires to purchase the respective subscriptions.

e-commerce is definitely a Nich, but you could niche down further like: luxury items, rare collectibles, NFT shops, fashion e-commerce, meal planning services, craft and hobbies, restaurants and catering industry...there are so much categories to pick from
