I hope this ties in to a bigger world in the mad max universe in which we get to see mel gibson play an old mad max

Just watched it. Pure epicness. Best movie of the year and it's not even close. One of the greatest prequels ever made, maybe the greatest. George Miller always delivers.Stunning acting, story, screenplay,photography, visual effects, cinematography,music, all is amazing.Pure chills. Im going to watch it a second time too.

I loved the movie, only thing is I wish they explored the Green Place a little bit more

Watching them back to back in chronological order is a treat. The continuity is perfect, doesn't miss a beat.

My wife and I really loved this movie. I plan on buying it on 4k blu ray . Joy and Hemsworth did a phenomenal job this movie was more story driven but it connected so we'll to fury road and ties everything together

Not only the absolute best movie of the Mad Max franchise but the most exhilarating... electrifying...high octane movie I've seen in my entire 63 years!!! I was literally exhausted 😮‍💨 after having experienced this brilliant 💎 of a movie...The soundtrack was sooo hypnotizingly visceral throughout along with the memorable expansive landscapes and the action was, well off the charts heart pounding! 💓 ...I 👏🏾 and gave a standing ovation "in my own home!" to director George Miller's astounding epic/classic movie...ALL of the characters were spot on perfect, EXTRAORDINARY in their roles & this in my opinion was Chris Hemsworth's best performance along with the young & grown up Furiosa...

Furiosa made me replay the 2015 mad max video game and to my surprise, some parts of the game hinted at this movie 9 years ago.

I wouldn’t say it was better than Fury Road but it definitely got close. Fury Road was a 10. Furiosa is about an 8.5-9. Both movies are definitely better than the first three. No…I am not woke.

I think this film makes Fury Road even better. I never read the comic or played the video game, so this prequel movie helps me understand the who is who in Fury Road.

I think furiosa having a more fleshed out story line and being able to show more of the mad max wasteland just made it a little better but I love all mad max movies

I think it's better but that's just me, it goes more into the world it's more creative it has everything, action, story and amazing characters. Though Fury roads action is unmatched and the soundtrack is flawless oh and you acc have Max in the movie it's just furiosa is that movie for me both amazing movies and so glad they have been made by George himself

Furiousa is by far the best Yin Yang style movie, possibly ever; or at least a very long time. A quick summery/explanation, without spoiling anything. Furiosa is a peaceful being, living in memtal darkness. Dementus is a dark being, living in mental peace. 2 very opposite ends of a chart yet one and the same. Even the smallest amount of hypocrisy is in everyone. The perfect movie, when done right 👌 This is the first and only mad max movie that isn't about max and it was probably the best. Kinda in the same that Rogue One, a star wars movie without Jedi's, did much better than the movies with the Jedi's. I hope that more Mad Max Saga's come to be, because this was amazing. Maybe even a TV show based on it all would be awesome and quite possible now that the franchise has shifted to using more animations and digital effects and not as much practical effects, this movie round. I honestly thought I was going to hate the movie because of digital effects. Many did make me cringe, such as some of the basic driving scenes could've easily been practical; or have had more Fast and Furious style car close ups and such, to blend it all nicely. But over all, now I've watched the movie, the shit editing in some parts just dont matter to me. The story is far too good and well written to really worry. Its got the same sort of, 'back to the basics', 'back to the roots' sorta thing I believe. Just like the first movie, its a very good story, with meaning that hits the majority of audience. I will not go into details of anything in similarities etc. because it will spoil both movies, for those whom haven't seen. The roles of Chris and Anya are the best they've had yet. Looks to be the most fun. I will go as far as saying that there are small bits of both Dementus and Furiosa, in all of us.

Great Movie. I think y’all might be overlooking the idea that Max is Furiosas father. Max waxed Mary Jobassa, giving her his seed which goes along with the seeds and growing things theme. He’s been out in the wasteland and could’ve easily spent the night and bailed on her. I think it makes sense that Mad Max’s daughter is Furious or in this case furiosa. Miller wouldn’t spend all this time on some random chick. She’s his daughter and that will be the big reveal in wasteland. But if you people don’t go to this movie we’ll never know so go to the damn movie so we can get the next chapter and find out. Go!

I would say both films are amazing in their own rights.As in FURY Road I liked the fight scenes a lot .In Furiosa while I'm watching i was excited for the story what's going to happen after each in event .Both films include various emotions in them. Sadness and brutality definitely you will feel them as watcher.

Saying this is your favourite performance by Anya Taylor Joy should be illegal. Have you even seen The Witch, Last Night At Soho, Emma, the northman.

Fury Road is a masterpiece but how George Miller made such a creative sequel is beyond me. It’s related & the same franchise but it is so different to Fury Road in many ways. Comparing it to Fury Road is inevitable but almost not fair - they should be reviewed as standalone movies. Furiosa is incredible in its own right. Anyone who thinks otherwise is moronic.

The reason it bombs at the box office is because people are so weary of girl boss type movies that if a movie even seems like it's a girl boss movie people will be repelled. the failure is due to the marketing and the recent history in Hollywood of pandering and catering to IEG shenanigans. So when the marketing comes off as a girl boss movie because of the history it'll be avoided like the plagur regardless if it merits that or not

Seen it in 4DX and man what an experience! Kind of made it hard to watch with all the shaking but the film was incredible.

This was a beautiful film, and the world building definitely helped making Fury Road more of a treasure. Fury road was a ride but furiosa was more brutal and very cinematic. Can't wait for the 4k copy

Don't get me wrong. I think the movie was okay, it's not amazing, not awful, just okay. But at the same time, the numbers and the box office are not looking good. Especially when it's neck and neck with the Garfield movie. Which, by the way, is also struggling.

I’ve heard that-in all actuality, it’s a solid action movie, w/worthy performances. But then, I guess…the real only issue is “what does this have to do w/Mad Max” & “was it really asked for being that we already know how her arc ends” or something to that degree Bringing this up cause, I haven’t heard many complaints at all about the movie, but still-it’s not doing so well at the box office. Complete apathy from fans due to all the previous bs before this movie? Films come out on stream pretty quickly these days? Who’s to say, not sure. Wouldn’t mind checking it out-I guess I myself would be wondering “so, what’s this have to do w/Max though?” unless they’ve got something coming 🤔
