To clarify the commenters this is a 1984 reissue model , not made in 1984.

YES! I thought that was understood by I can’t hold that against anyone, for a little bit I didn’t know they referred to the new Kramer Baretta’s as an ‘84 model. I quickly learned when I tried to google an actually 1984 Kramer 🤪🎸

@@MastersofShred that has a non tilt headstock, kinda like a fender. tilt, more like gibson, would be on a real 84. btw real 84 are not that valuable , real 83 is the one to have, well not really. they are pricey like $5k but have a lame wide r5 nut

3M makes a whole array of reflective vinyl - I have black. Yes, it is black in the day time and at night when light shines on it the reflection is super bright white. I may wrap my bike in red/red - red during day, reflects bright red at night. Whole bike becomes a reflector. But it's also pretty cool to put numbers on a house that can also be seen easily at night...all sorts of applications.

if that's a 1984 Kramer I'm captian kangaroo, the fuggen sticker on the back of the headstock says made in indonesia FCS! OFR has brass tuners, its a $176 kramer baretta special, 2020+

If it's that rare why tear it apart? I have a feeling you are doing a 84' tour EVH wrap/build, which I get, but I would leave the body alone even though it's ugly as hell!

Good points but at the end of the day all I see is a newer 84 model so I figured it would serve as a great canvas to knock out a custom finish that I have been working on for a while now :) That EVH wrap is a good guess but believe it or not it’s something different than that 😜 This refinish will actually kick off a brand new line of Inzane Skin Wrap designs that have never been offered before! I think you will dig it😬👍🎸 I’m also happy that I could record this video before shipping it out to Inzane skins so we could document the guitars previous state 😜👍🎸🎸🎸

I understand totally where your going an doing But you dont think cause of atleast the rarity and one off nichy cool factor youd just keep it way it is with a good set up and buy another off the shelf 84 for the new wrap? Just sayn its ass looking but a conversation piece for sure

I totally agree with you and as you probably saw, about mid way in the video I was questioning doing just that 😬👍 Especially if when I started to uncover the white on the sides of the body. Truthfully when I purchased it I had no intent on refinishing it because I thought the finish was painted on. Also the overall wrap job seemed pretty rushed on this one. From there plans changed however keeping it as would have definitely been cool just as a conversation piece 😬👍🎸 But I am happy that I at least documented what it was like before with this video 🎸🔥

Is it a true Kramer or is it Warmouth underneath? I know Warmouth made Vivan Campbell's, I believe, since he wanted 24 3/4 scale.

@@theuserthatishere Their explorer type neck they sell now is different, but back then it was not. I worked with a guitarist who owned one of the Viv Campbell models and both the body and necked were stamped with the Warmoth turtle.
