@M.C. Smith Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I definitely see what you mean. I have much more Steve McQueen content than the other songs. There a bunch with Steve McQueen in the title but they really have very little to do with Steve. I wrote this song originally for a short film in which the main character starts acting like Steve McQueen and transforms his life.

@@Radioactive1965 No, I actually wrote it for a short film called "The Transformation" by Barry Strugatz. Then coincidentally a few months later I was called by The Tao of Steve producers, who didn't know I already had recorded a song about Steve McQueen.

Steve McQueen is the man every guy wishes he was, because he's a real life, larger than life hero. The same goes for any badass type like John Wayne, Mel Gibson, Arnold Swartzenegger, or Sylvester Stallone.

Always loved anything about Steve McQueen. He had a tough life. Cancer killed him at age 50. That's not a happy thing.

I grew up watching Steve McQueen movies starting with his 'Wanted Dead or Alive' TV series. What a man!! Many of the movies he starred in have become 'remakes' of late, but his originals are still the gold standard. This is a great tribute.

Steve Left Us Too Early! He Had His Flaws, But His Up Bringing Wasn't The Best! Still, I Think His Best Work Was "The Sand Pebbles"! He Had Others, Classics, But That's The One I Liked! Before His Passing, He Became A Born-Again Christian! I Hope Steve You Finally Found PEACE! RIP STEVE McQUEEN!!!
