That’s a very generalized statement lol but it doesn’t seem like she was being harmful to the cat at all. He just likes Kareem more in this video. Don’t think it goes deeper than that. She has other cats who love her just as much as Kai loves Kareem
Tip for kai!: try a softer voice and softer touch with him. Sometimes cats dont like more louder of hyper voices and also try warming up to him bit by bit! Hope this helped
It's because she does the dirty works lije cutting nails giving bath so the cat has a mood around her but kareen doesn't do those so he's fine with him....

i think the reason is because he is holding the cat firmly, as per compared to her. cats generally require more surface contact over it's body to feel safer.

Cats will normally bond with one specific person the most. That’s the person who they’ll have the most trust with, usually someone who gives them the most attention. They’ll be extremely tolerant towards that person with what they let them do. But they’ll not give that trust to anyone else. So if a cat has chosen you as their bond you should feel honored…
also she is trying to move the cat in different postions and cats generaly hates that, they want to choose them selfs how they lay down in someones lap, and you can never force a cat to do something it doesnt want to do, I have had several cats even have 2 now, and you have to learn what is fine with them or they will get cranky lol

Lol...this is why although I love all animals n yes pups ...dogs...I'm a cat guy especially a female cat to my male personality. I always wondered why Like bc they were mini Lions to me n remind me of that linier like that line of animals. Or bc I always helped stray cats like in my part of long Island NY there r no stray dogs I'm like rite by the queens Nassau county border so like a borough but many stray cats. I always became close with them like they must have picked up on that vibe that I love them n I am peaceful bc they only would trust me n eat from me not my ex who wasn't a cat person. Idk I guess wat I love is just wat u said they choose u not u choose them like a dogbis too trusting n they love the one who feeds them n full trust but a cat is loyal to u not just u fed them but in time wen they realize ok he's mine then u r theirs for life like a female cat is like jealous over u lol if ur a male just awesome how u said THEY CHOOSE YOU not other way around! I have a part Bobcat that weighs about 30 lbs and two of his now, adult babies. They all three have their own personalities but, she torments these poor cats. Cats like a calm environment and I never force mine to do anything they don't want to do. Kai is beautiful. Calm down Mama and be more gentle because I know that you love these fur babies.
yeah my parents cat is that way she will complain like crazy when I pick her up but she will never scratch or bite more likely to get bitten when are just cuddling in bed 😂

Part of it is the way you talk to them and how you handle them when moving them around. When they are already distressed or tense, it’s not a good idea to continue to try to coddle them or pull them close as it’ll only make them more convinced to get away from you. Speaking in a softer voice helps too especially when the animal is already worried or distressed
She has a sharp, loud, brassy annoying, nasaly, voice and handles him roughly. I wouldn't like her to cuddle with either. She even kisses him with loud smacks!😢

that he didnt scratch or hit or bite you or struggle to run away and just sorta accepted it, says ALOT. also they dont like strong smells so try cuddles when not wearing anything that puts off a strong smell
I almost commented a couple times that it’s just because she isn’t holding him right. I feel like for most cats it’s about how you hold them, how secure they are, and keeping them from flailing. Then I watched to the end and noticed that she is genuinely trying to hold the cat the same way the guy did and it’s just resisting. Maybe it was sick of the show antics lol

I've always been a Dog Person never was I any good with cats. I'm still learning about them, same as dogs. As, all still have much you need to know and learn about them. Even though you already have knowledge, however with cats their just so cute and adorable to me too, I can't help but to want to pick them up and hold them. You realize, though, alot of them do not like that, some like you, some just don't. Cats are amazing with those reflexes though, thats what draws me to them and their meows How they can just be all the way up on a dresser. SO HIGH! Its rare, to find a cat who simply wants to be loved and held all day. Some just say "Touch me again or come near me and You'll feel my claws."😢
Reminds me of my former office manager's cat, Max. Nobody could get within 3 feet of this guy without getting scratched and bitten. I walked in the house and carried him around the house like a baby all night.

You're trying too hard! You can't force his love, that's why you're getting his aggressive aggravated reaction from him. You need to scale waaaay back!!! He don't feel safe/relaxed with you. And forced positions and/or raised voices don't help.
I got a cat like that. He's cool with me and my Dad holding him but everyone else in the house. Well they don't pick him up. Been that way for 10 years lol
I think he doesn't like Fifi because she makes him do stuff that he doesn't like- ear drops, nail cuts, baths, ear cleanings, makes him go home or come over 😊 Little baby Kai is just so cute, he's very fussy and loves to talk back ❤
Kareem is calm and she was so tense and Kai felt every bit of it. Cats are super sensitive to stuff like that I’ve learned… she’s got to be calm and let Kai come to her when he’s ready…you can’t force it or you will continue to be disappointed and have a distressed cat!!

I've heard that Scottish folds have a condition that could make them prone to sensitivity and pain; this is what makes their ears fold. They may need extra gentle treatment such as Kareem gives Kai. Of course Fifi is the greatest with cats and everyone...she'll win Kai too in time!
