If you think about it the weapon banner now works like the character banner, you either lose or win the 50/50 for you desired weapon, if lost it you have it guaranteed, definitely better than before, its a nice improvement in my eyes. And who knows maybe we will actually get a split weapon banner with 75/25 one day. They soon will have to overwork the wishing system anyway, chronicle wish aint enough to fill the gaps. Also fob aint even wining 25/75 so whats the point 😂🫵
It could be like 90/10 in the weapon banner. So the rate ups would be 45% Or then make like the 2 weapons are the only ones you can get, so it ends up being 50/50
Okay firstly , I think Genshins Weapon banner in general is worse but the weapons in HSR are just too niche ; I think Genshins weapon banner is better because HSR weapons are too niche
Isn't it because unlike there other games the F2P alternatives are either better or similarly close. We're as the weapons in ZZZ HSR and HI3 are basically a necessity. Weapon banners a scam but it's only there if you care about collecting a niche item.

This argument doesn’t make any sense. What about Genshin specifically warrants it being different? It’s the same company at the head, so why would they choose to have Star Rail and ZZZ have it the better way whereas Genshin’s system is just worse for the player?

Just imagine you paid 300 bucks to get a character and now you hear customers can get the new character at 200. Gacha are scam we all know that, but you’ll probably feel like they stole you 100 at this point. This is a big community and they are loud when pissed. This could end up worst for them as backlash than if they just dont dont anything. So they dont take that risk.
