BEFORE YOU COMMENT, KEEP IN MIND: The hood that was scratched was NOT my newly-painted hood. It was the hood I originally got with the car, painted by the movie studio. If you notice any orange peel or imperfections, it gives you a great look at just how bad the paint job was.

I had to build up the courage to watch this by first learning how to replace the U-joint in my Ford Ranger from some guy on RU-vid who never shows his face. You heard of him? True story, your Hummer video made me go out and buy my dream truck. A $1000 '07 Ford Ranger 4.0L with the 5-speed manual. I really hope that this RU-vid guy knows what he's talking about, because I have about $3K worth of parts coming from Amazon to replacing everything minus the axles. Come to think of it I should check to see if you have a rear differential rebuild video. Otherwise I would have to resort to a mans final step and that's reading the included instructions that came with the kit. The thought of that just gave me the same feeling as when I read the title of Freddy's video :(

Your clearly havent watched the vin wiki leaks about that car it has been damn near around the world and dissasembled and appraised by like 3 different mechanics and has sat dissasembled in like 5 different shops idk if you know but you can't even get a fuse diagram for these handmade machines that's why the tire change at the dealer cost like 20k or something you have to pay to play it would take him and at least 2 other investors to even get it looking like a bugatti again let alone wired and running with all electronics functioning if the guy would have never thought of insurance fraud shed still be here tragic

The spray on "dip" technology is pretty amazing. Cuz at the end of the day this is basically just a high end spray dip. Seen it used on, It's just a six's, miata. They sprayed a Dr. Pigment spray dip then cleared it with something similar if not this stuff cuz they claimed you could wet sand and buff that clear too and peel it when you want to change the color. Pretty awesome though used in the way this guy was suggesting although you could just use a dip like dr. Pigment and use this clear and your factory paint would be perfect condition underneath it. Amazing time to be a car guy! They have some amazing colors and will even made custom colors for it's just a six's miata and his friends mustang

What's up with the driver's side quarter panel right above the tail light after they applied the protection ? You can really see it in the sunlight at 8:32 looks like they either didn't spray it in that spot correctly, or someone put their arm or something on it before it was dry.

hey Freddy this obsessed garage is a detailer right there in Lake County I don't know if you follow him or know him in but he's been on VINwiki which to me seemed ideal cuz if you don't know him I'm sure Edward would give you a hand he just seems like that type of fellow but like I said I do believe he's over towards the villages so pulling him in for the Lamborghini clean up for SEMA may be possible I followed a guy about four blocks to yell hey at him the other day at Forsyth and Colonial all the way to the 408 cuz I thought it was you and your F350 not a mile from the paint shop LOL cars looking awesome and I love that clear coat I'm trying to see if my dad wants to do it to his C8 when it comes

Hey Jonathan. To install ClarityCoat you would just simply clean the existing paint and then spray the product over the top.

They're great at what they do. However my channel is a little different, this project in particular is a exotic, custom built show car going to SEMA, and I'm trying to do everything 100 percent, which takes more time than ordering parts and installing them. They also have access to a paint booth and can do better body work than I'm capable of, so I wager they can cut some time there. Based on their custom Huracan project, I'm willing to bet that they've also figured out that custom cars take time, and that's ok.

weird fact, its hurt you to do it but some have no remorse when they done it... it would be interesing to see how they react if it was done on there car... anyway there is a clearcoat that resist glass bead blasting called " Dominion Crystal Clear 2K Chip Guard" see to be tough but it cant be peeled like the one you use. Love to see when it will be complete with that beautifull color

This isn't Autoflex. Fonzie can chime in here, but Clarity Coat is aimed at the higher end market as a sprayable, peelable PPF solution. AutoFlex is aimed towards mid-range installers with color change tech in mind.
