Hello Russ this was fun to watch enjoyed it. I still have not got a field to roll in but i have not been out to much looking either. I love the smell of fresh turned ground. Thanks the video have a great day.
Man yeah, its that time again!! The cover crop wasn't too bad it seems!! I liked hearing what you used in BD, thank you for sharing that! Man that stinks on the subscription for the planter, that would be a tuff pill to swallow for sure! Love seeing that disk work, and ground seems good where you ripped it! I apologize for being late, crazy busy lately for some reason 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you Russ for bringing us along, look fwd to seeing whats next!! 😁😁🌽🌽🇺🇸🇺🇸🌱🌱🌾🌾
We actually had several scenarios for burndown. The most cost effective was Valor. Personally I don’t like Valor. Lead Off is a Corteva/Pioneer product. It’s interest free till December with my Corteva plan.
That’s weird. On my 4640 monitor my section control license is bought, not subscribed. Thought JD still gave you the option to buy. I’ve got an extra GS3 monitor you can borrow if it’s unlocked for section control. Can’t remember if it is or isn’t. It should work with you planter, might have to change software version in the rate controller.
There may be an option to buy but I thought I paid for the unlock last year . No big deal, I should have my corn planted or almost planted before it runs out. If not I’ll shake loose the $850. I guess I like to complain, lol!
I'm still reading up on this auto steer. Wow, there is a lot I didn't know. I will give it a nother collage try tomorrow, lol. Subscriptions are their way of controlling us. I don't like them either.
The 1st thing I have to do is move the box to the floor. I put it on the cab brace in front, and it it not straight to the axle and facing the wrong direction. Then the 1st step in the callabation process is to set an ab line and then set still when doing the freeplay. Oops, it helps to go fin a manual online and read it, lol.
Thanks for sharing the video Russ. That's a shame about the subscription on your planter. Never had one that new. Disc is doing a good job of cutting. Stay safe out there working. God Bless Y'all.
