Happy First Father's Day Brotha Pressure. FATHER that word is so loaded but so trusted brotha. We have our FATHER in heaven the alpha and omega. But God has entrusted you brotha with one of His children which is the greatest responsibility you will ever give you. A father’s role in the family is a pivotal one. He is called upon to be a leader and protector for the family, and to give an example of Christ’s love by being loving towards the children’s mother. He is also to be strong in the faith, and to bring the children up knowing right from wrong. Becoming a father isn’t something to be taken lightly, and I know that over the years I’ve had my share of failures as a father. Whether it’s raising my voice too loudly when disciplining my kids, or not displaying the best example of how to act, I know I had many areas I needed to grow when my kids were coming up. Remember, Baby Empress, is watching everything you do and listening to every word even when you don't think she understands brotha. I'm still learning this father roll but I'm doing a great job because I'm giving her the most valuable thing in my life Time. This experience is bliss and I will not trade it for nothing in the world, but having another one, I don't think so. It's hard and I want to always have the time and energy for my child. My brother has 7 children so she won't be around adults like that but her parents. God did indeed entrust me to lead and I'm doing the best I can through His guidance. The lightskin cat, he is a good brother of mine/mentor/friend. They were having a bowling league that night and we are about to join so I can't wait, because this is one of my favorite hobbies other than cars.
