It's amazing, how strong traditions can be. About musical instruments... that a mere absence of any commandment concerning their use in the New Testament is seen as a prohibition, even though there are many strong commands to use them in the Old Testament. If this approach were used in any other matter, it would easily be seen as heresy. And yet, the Psalms are used for comfort and worship nowadays... And the New Testament tells us to use Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs... and never tells us to NOT use the 150th! God loves to hear musical instruments. He doesn't change. He commanded their use in the Old Testament, and surrounds Himself with them in Heaven. They are no more evil than the human voice. The Human voice is used wrong in singing, also. Just because something is used wrongly by evil people, cannot mean that in itself, it is a wrong object or tool.
