I have not gone to the factory and seen my particular shoe being made. I have however been to a shoe factory and seen shoes similar to mine being made. I have not, nor can I ever, see a universe being created. It is merely an extrapolation that since things within our universe are designed and created, then we can (must) infer (assume) that the universe must have been designed and created by someone (something). This extrapolation doesn't take into account that things within our universe are subject to the rules and laws of our universe. These laws may not apply outside our universe. Since our universe was not created WITHIN our universe, it's creation does not have to follow the rules of, and within, our universe.
