A bomb timer could be integrated into either a dome supplement or a cave which gives a UI for all dome based gadget timers - eg worms, bombs, drillbert treats etc. ^.^

I think a run with the long cycles modifier would be interesting to see. And to make it a challenging mine where you need to really make good use of your extra time, try a huge maze with the added catch that you aren't allowed the droneyard or any gadgets/supplements that can break through bedrock.

Personally, I find that upgrading Drone Speed over Drone Quantity gives you better yields early on, then increasing the quantity as you go deeper. For me, I think 7 Drones at Max Speed can reliably collect most, if not all the resources mined in a single session over the course of you mining (unless you have something like the teleporters or the remote station).

I do have to say, these play throughs have made me heavily consider getting the game, it’s very satisfying and soothing these almost podcasts I could say, your commentary is smooth and doesn’t leave anything too boring, and the lack of editing makes everything feel raw and pure, with the soothing music of the underground and the sounds fighting makes, it’s really easy to get lost in these videos… … _…I’m reading too far into this…_

@@LucklessLovelocks Yeah agreed. I don't like tower defense games so figured even if I didn't like the game I was happy to give the dev my money for the enjoyment I got from watching people play their game. Turns out I like playing it almost as much as I like watching it :)

Watch out by becoming a mining channel it can go down hill real fast. You wouldnt want to bury yourself, you might end up in over your head but it might bring you to new depth your never tought you could reach.

If you would like to play minecraft there is a lot of funny modpacks that multiply things you can experience and do in Minecraft :) Also you can play on multiplayer servers, or even create one your self.

Early access has its place if its going to be treated like an open beta. The issue is when a game is in "early access" for longer than what any reasonable person would consider normal.

@@LucklessLovelocks Fingers crossed, between them both there's a lot of great additions that I thok you'd enjoy (and would make for good content). Pale Reach provides a bit of QoL upgrades and a brand new branch of lore. Iron Rig provides a LOT of QoL upgrades and expands upon the base lore. Both (but particularly Iron Rig) have some nice secrets scattered about as well.

Well if you look for something else to play in your style, turmoil released a dlc not long ago. Not that exciting kind of game and not sure how long you can milk it for the buck on that game, but if you want something else to play there is that. :/ Edit: forget it, checked the review and DLC on steam is rated mostly negative.

The inventory upgrade auto-heals with cobalt when you're going to die. I have that on all the time from the Guild Rewards. Then I also had the resurrection supplement that fully heals you when you die as well as gives you a period of invulnerability.

Right! Spire is quite good on its own but that would be a near addition.

@@LucklessLovelocks The main issue is what would the addition consist of without making it overpowered or redundant. The only thing I could think of would be a supplement that incorporates the Spire as part of your dome (freeing up the external slot for Missiles or the Furnace).

On the topic if "should I use one more time" or the initial dome resurrection, just to teach newer players. If you are not as confident as Luckless, you should repair first. The dome resurrection gives you 20 seconds of invulnerability. If you want to beat the final wave for the first time, holding on to the resurrection by manually repairing with cobalt so that you use the resurrection ON the final wave is the play. That 20 (or 30 for 2nd resurrection I think) is a LONG time for you to kick monster ass. It's always better for dome resurrection to be triggered in a later wave where that invulnerability will not be wasted.

Impact detonation seems to do a percentage of the explosion radius toward the direction of impact. So if it's 9 squares maybe it pushes it 3 to the left, with the same size. Also when you took dome resurrection over deafening blast while having 7 cobalt and a beast guy on your dome pounding I died inside :D Deafening blast is artillery's answer to the screamers.

For the early access question, it really depends on the game. For games that are meant to be repetitive, like Dome Keeper, it is great. For games that are more story driven, it can ruin the story. I think it can be bad if the style is far out of the norm. For example, Dark Souls would have been bad for early access as the back half could have been improved with user input but how many people would complain about how hard it is and demand the devs to ease it up.

Fair. I would say BG 3 and the other Larian games benefited massively from EA and that's one that's outside the norm.
