You're saying as if they are all robots. First, they have different vocal tones. And second, most importantly they have individuality. Blackpink may not be the most talented group, but they know how to stand out. Even if Jennie and Lisa just stand there, they will still eat the iland girls

@@praveenw.4393 star quality is a thing where kpop idols have to earn with their talents. despite how yg treated the girls; by delaying and not promoting their cbs during their prime, they became unique and a lot of people got interested by them. Cute concept (girl group) was very popular at that time, and blackpink didn’t took the same path and decided to try a different one which is the girl crush concept. As far as I know, yg didn’t let the girls showed their potential, and made the fans more eager because of how mysterious they are at that time, thanks to their senior (2ne1) but deep inside, they don’t seemed that talented. Rose isnt a powerful vocalist, shes just unique. Lisa is a great performer not a great dancerist. Jennie isn’t a best rapper, people should look at other groups like EXID LE, that group deserves more recognition and she deserves to be known just like jennie, because she is an underground rapper. And lastly, Jisoo - her visual can be subjective, but as far as i know it doesn’t fit anymore with the current trends of beauty standards in south korea, even back then
