More accurately it makes a /x/ sound, which is like the ch in (scottish accent english) "loch" Edit: First, /x/ is not 'ks', it is a voiceless velar fricative. If you want to learn more, you could google 'voiceless velar fricative'. Secondly, I was just speaking generally about spanish, as a lot of dialects do indeed have /x/. Thirdly, if you just want to tell me I'm wrong just because I'm not a native spanish speaker, kindly shut up.
@@Just_A_Bananai meant h in english is pretty much the exact same thing. But then again you cant really say something so broad about a language. As a cuban the way we say things is completely different from how spanish people say it.
@@Murimz Not really the same thing tho, I mean it is similar but if you want you can go to wikipedia and go to the "IPA consonant sounds with audio" page and listen to the phonemes /x/ and /h/. I understand that cuban spanish might have a different way of pronouncing words / letters, but I was just speaking generally :)
All hispanics laugh like this. “Jajaja” is NOT a “mexican thing” why do you people always think you created everything? It’s literally how you laugh in spanish.
I dated a guy who used to tell me what he loved about me was how I laughed with my whole self. I laughed with my mouth open, and loudly. not demurely. Guys, joy is contagious.
Yup. I knew a girl from Ghana who would laugh like this. If the group was walking she’d go unstable and need support from the person next to her. We always called it “melting” when she did that haha
@@patrickhodson8715lol we always call it ragdolling, i like the term 'melting' though. i'm gonna have to switch it up next time i see one of my friends do it
I know that the J sound like R. But you know what makes no sense? Laugh with lol. Like, it doesn't sound like I'm laughing hard. I'm from Brasil, I can't say nothing because we laugh with kkkk, rsrsrs, ksksks, kakakaka, kgkgkdhjgkr, haha, hihi, hehe, etc. But lol, lmao doesn't sound like I'm dying laughing
Past lives are a lie from the devil so you won't take death seriously. JESUS is real. Pray for truth in JESUS name. ❤❤❤ please survive and make it to Heaven. Call the devil a liar and find JESUS. ❤ JESUS will save you from a permanent death.
Wow and i thought my laughing is bad , and i still do it's like HAAA Ak Ak Ak hghghgh aaa.. qqqk (but this is only when i am on my period) normally it's like opening a can multiple times like ts ts ts ts , i don't even think there are words to describe it , but i tried...😭
Ja is german and means yes.. i was always so confused when people wrote jajajajaja.. but now i understand.. they dont mean to say yesyesyesyes they mean it like hahahaha
Same with Brazil. We only laugh through keysmashing, I feel so dumb and plastic when I talk to Americans online and have to write “lol” or “haha” when my guts want to throw a “AHSUSHSUAGSUSHSUSHWUAHWJEHSUH”
To be fair the monotone “that’s funny” or “that’s hilarious after white laugh is killing the mood real quick in my second-language speaker perspective 😅 Yeah if I wanna laugh I go witch with our lung max deflated
I didn't want to comment on this, but I gotta. Love the culture & attitudes. B/c in mexico or those that carry their roots? They don't do reserved emotions, they feel, they feel with all of themselves, their past lives, their ancestors, and in their bones. And it's freaking beautiful to see.
I am Argentina...I didn't knew people find our laughter- our WRITTEN LAUGHTER annoying. I mean I am NOT apologising, our Latinos laughs are awesome y LA QUESO 🫴👄💁♀️
Because "h" is silent in Spanish, and "j" is pronounced (almost) like the English "h". So the Spanish "JAJA" is pronounced like the English "HAHA". "HAHA" would be pronounced "AH AH".
Meanwhile slavic people: VHAZPHAHPHVHPHAHP Im serious. This is how it looks in russian: ВХАЗПХАХПХВХПХАХП And a lot of people consider "hahaha" sarcastic/unpolite.
In brazilian we have TONS of different laughs, we literally go like below: Kaheiahdiakehoa Jakakakkakaksja huahsuahUahia Paiekapjepakspdao Im not even joking 🤷🏻♀️
I laugh with h a h a h a... I refuse to do the little laugh out loud thing. No way. And yes sometimes I change it up a little and add Baja jahahahahahahahahaha
nah, Turkish one is way crazier and makes sense, we just randomly press letters&numbers when we want to indicate in the text that we are laughing: (adafadagadagdagadagadagadgsusuwks) or if you are like laughing really hard you put them in capital (LSJSĞWHDĞDJDLKEKCK)
Yes but, “ja” means “yes” in Dutch so you’re really just saying “YESYESYESYES” and it’s weird, stop it. (Everyone knows Dutch is the base reference language)
Its because their letter J being used in a word sounds like our H does in english. So ot would make sense that they text laugh with JAJA because it sounds like haha in their language haha.
Once I met and fell in friendship-love with some Mexican people I'm converted, JAJAJAJAJA is clearly superior in energy, delivery and sincerity than "hahaha" 😂😂😂😂 as a South African, most of us laugh with our elbows too, thank you for spreading the gospel💯💯
Isn't "ha" pretty much always pronounced "a" in Spanish? So if two people are texting in Spanish and someone types "HAHAHA" it would mean they're going "a! a! a!" like The Count from Sesame Street.
Ah ok, still funny for me, sens in Norwegian, "ja" means "yes". So I often just see: "YES YES YES YES" or what you might hear from someone who is tired/disinterested in what your are saying. Like: "jajaja, nokk om det..."
I'm Brazilian, but I can relate, we do the exact same; though our laugh is KKKKKK (which, btw, read these Ks as "ka"), which actually raises suspicions because it looks like something else for English speakers (¯ヮ¯٥)
