Browney do you watch Mike since the cleaning the earth video or you knew him before? Glad to see you here, little weird to think about how completely different people I watch get to know each other in person! 😁
This is such a good video. Well edited. Well thought out. And the best part is that it's not just animating a story, it also shows a practical side to peoples day to day lives. Very well done Mike! 👏
You literally creating content from a "fail". Teaching me how to treat imperfections + loneliness. I didn't expect to found such insights when I clicked this video. Thank you!
Just came across u channel bud and... I love you my man. It felt like somebody just told me my story with a better ending. I'm 17 rn have some problems back home. Working hard to give my mum and my sis a better life and things that they truely deserve. I have learnt a lot of skill to help myself get a job or some other better opportunity but right now nothing seems to work. Had severe depression before the pandemic started (attempted atleast thrice). Picked myself up and started working again with medication and my bestfriend and my mum on my side. But the pandemic has really taken a toll on me. I have been working really hard with futility, not having any of the desired results, doubting myself and feeling miserable. Having big goals and being motivated initially but loosing track as the failures and challenges start getting on to me. This just made me remember my whole story buddy. Thanks for the hope and being so candid and upfront to show ur failures as well. I hope you get whatever you wish in life. May god bless your mom with the happiest life ever and loveliest memories to you and your girlfriend. With lots of gratitude and love Asmit singh India
Im An Animator. And Yes, Animation Is Way Harder Than Lots Of People Think. It Took Me One Month To Make A 12 Mn Ep Alone. Good Job Man! You Did Great And I Hope The People Can Realize The Struggle Too🙂
I love how much effort you've put into this video, the story, symbolism, symmetry, subtle easter eggs and a wonderful way of portraying such a simple concept, I applaud all your hard effort - It payed off!
I see myself on all the experience you've encountered working on animation, it feels fulfilling to see these experiences in a way as an affirmation that these happens and also interpreted as a story.
Came here to watch this guy doing an animation, stayed for the lore of his life slowly falling and suddenly getting even higher then it was before this video
Did anyone else catch the meaning? If not, than here: The entire movie, the names were bleeped. During the middle, Mike plays the game that was identical to that of the one on the screen. In the outro, it is said: "Come on Mike, let's go!" Mike, correct me if I am wrong: This is a personal story about your childhood.
Hey, Mike! I know you probably won't see this but I just recently found your channel and just wanted to say I'm a big fan of this one. It's been my dream to get accepted into Medical School and had a very similar experience when I finally got in. I've pretty much pushed everyone (family, friends, and girlfriend) aside even though they were super worried about me. Your videos show a lot of hard work and dedication, but I always enjoyed seeing you leave in the parts that shows how difficult things would get for you. I guess what I'm trying to say is, thanks for continuously making candid content that I can look forward to.
The beauty of it was witnessing the clash between one's personal and professional life. I am dedicating myself tirelessly to meet my work obligations. Your statement about how no one truly understands resonated with me. You mentioned finding solace in playing football, while I, for the same reason, found myself engrossed in RU-vid and stumbled upon this incredible video. The channel and its content are truly remarkable. Please continue producing such exceptional work.
For those who didn't understand, this masterpiece was a true story based on Mikes life , if we pay attention, whenever other characters says the main character name it beeps , but at the end it said" hello Mike" insted of beeping , plus the kid shown there loved to play football games on devices , so did Mike
A few things: First of all, this was actually really neat. Your dedication to what you were doing was definitely a bit too much, but it proves you're willing to strive for greatness. And the artwork itself was also great, you have some skill for sure! Second, it's hard to dedicate a ton of time to art unless you really want to do it. It seemed here like while you did feel you enjoyed it, in reality it was just hard work. Still, the end result was great. Just be sure to enjoy what you put time into, or else you'll feel... empty. Much love from a fellow Artist.
I started off “animating” when I was 12 using Microsoft paint and mindows movie maker. My friend at the time showed me how. Over 10 years later, I learned so much about animation. As long as you stick with it, you’ll keep seeing your skills growing. I have some animations on my channel if anyone wants to check them out.
I just love his content. They real just light up my day. Just everything is on point. Keeps me intrigued, and he has a soothing voice. All in all great content.
Hey Mike! I'm a bit late to this video, and I don't know if you'll see this, but I figured I'd say something anyway. It's really inspiring how in recent videos, you've included a bit more of your own reality, your REAL life. Nowadays, influencers make it seem as if their lives are perfect and that they have no struggles. You're the exact opposite of that, and I really appreciate your honesty with us beyond what words can explain. It helps both of us feel just a little bit more human, ya know? The truth is that there are good days AND bad days, and not one step of this journey through life is made easy. I've been watching your videos for just over a year now, and it's really cool to see how you've grown and matured in such a short amount of time. Don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back, alright? You're surrounded by so much love that, sometimes, it can be really easy to overlook it. On behalf of everyone, thank you, the one and only Mike Shake, for being you. :)
Bro, you've taken everything out of my mouth. Thx for writing this comment man. Idk it feels just heartwarming seeing the struggles being overcome and actually seeing the person in a more vulnerable way which reminds me of a few creators that are like that but I don't remember any of them rn unfortunately.
@@businessisboomin7252 Ayyy, no problem, my friend! I feel the same way! Even though a lot of content creators avoid mention of their day-to-day struggles, I personally think that a sense of reality adds a lot to videos and how they resonate with you afterwards.
Oh no my friend, unfortunately some of us are alone, abandoned, left out, forgotten. Not anyone's choice, not what we ever wished for. It hurts right down to your very core, something that you did not even know ever existed. Scary to think about it that is for sure. By the way clever video, looks like you have some great equipment and it looks like you have fun creating which is awesome. I have found that having a hobby or 2 can really be a great thing - something that can bring you peace and some happiness as you move through this experience.
Okay Mike, you’re definitely giving me the motivation to push myself. I love to draw but it’s like I fight myself to just do it. Gotta bleed that time if I’m passionate about it.
Me too. I feel like it is God that showed me this video. My dream is to be an animator, but I am always burnt out from school and just lose motivation to draw. I am gonna start drawing even if it’s only 30 minutes a day
OMG Mike Shake, I remember you have about 500k when I first saw your video, it was probably one of the best videos I had seen. Now you have grown so much, keep up the good work, you surely will get more and more subscribers 😀
This is why I love your content, all of your videos have some kind of message, and you teach us how difficult with a lot of obstacles being a content creator actually is. Thanks Mike!
This is so far the best of your videos, I've ever watched. As a person, who is constantly busy, I absolutely saw myself in this video and the thoughts that are passing through my head on daily basis. I'm watching the video probably for the 10th time, because everything is just so perfect. I absolutely loved the format of the urgency with the contest for the animation, the dedication to the project, the small hints on the animation, which have the grand explanation at the end, and the happy ending.😊 Truly amazing and perfect in every aspect. Amazing work Mike. Keep expressing your creativity with these videos. This format of video creating is awesome on itself, but I love to see your own personal touch added to it. It differentiates it from other content creators, and makes you original. ❤
i'm making my own animation project, im finishing the script by now and soon i'll start with animation phase. watching you really makes me feel better and gives me a huge "if i can then u can do it" message. thank u for this kind of videos, i'm sure there are lots of dudes like me that feel this way. love ur content and i'd love to see the final result of ur animation 😁✌
I've been watching your videos for some time now. This one really stands out. Thanks for talking openly about your process, your psychological and social life during a video. By the way, the animation was great!
To say the least, that was unexpected. Great job on this video, all the productions of yours are always of the highest quality, but this one was above and beyond.
The best video in RU-vid Amazing story, smooth editing, interesting from the start to the end and all the details are to much for a single 8 minute video. Thanks for this masterpiece
A parte il fatto che, in italiano, hai una voce totalmente diversa e fighissima, hai fatto un lavoro meraviglioso. Adoro i tuoi contenuti, continua così! Vai alla grande!
Same. I was inspired to animate by an Object Show called BFDI, in which I downloaded the assets, and used Adobe Animate. Nowadays, I use Blender and Adobe After Effects, doing animations based off logos and branding.
This was really cool. He never gives up even though it can ge are. That’s why it’s important to never give up because you can achieve the goal you wanted to complete
Man seriosly i was stuck with that animating stuff. But after seeing this video i got an idea and solution for that problem and it is easy and looking cool LOVE U MAN LOVE U SOO MUCH BRO!!!!!!...,u got me out of my worries LOVE U SOO MUCH
