Good video, interesting how Richard, whilst initially coming across as a touch technical, shaped your emotions and confidence into a skilled driver, if he couldn't feel you had it in you he would have simply dawdled around a back paddock, not pushed you headfirst into the deep end. I teach driving and do the same, suss out the driver's skills and push them to achieve their maximum even though they think I'm mad!

Wow, really enjoyed this, as someone who spent 20 years rallying, I was very connected to your experience there, very similar to the first time I went in a rally car on gravel, the astonishment!! The "how the.....?" Richard was an excellent tutor for you and his knowledge for how to drive the 911 is so great..... You connected with it very quickly, and for a guy like Richard to have the confidence in your ability to make you press on speaks volumes for your driving talent!! Lets see some more of that!!

Richard is a really relaxed kinda guy, and a first class driving instructor who showed confidence in your driving ability Jodie. I thought you did very well first time out. I watched cars on the Safari Rally in the early 1960’s when cars taking part were such as Ford Zephyr, Peugeot 403/404 etc.

Great to see you putting content out here Jodie. Looking forward to watching the channel grow and you knocked it out park here. What a day and what an amazing teacher he is.

Richard Tuthill is possibly one of the very best drivers in a 911 in the country. Given that the 911 is the ultimate car, this is not faint praise.

Fantastic video! You nailed rally driving there Jodie. Awesome! I love the Tuthill business: Rally car builders, Circuit racers and ice driving! I took my old air cooled 911 to them for servicing and met Richard and Francis (his father) when I lived in the UK. Still have the same car with me in Australia, as I couldn't be separated from it when we emigrated 10 years ago.

Jodie i really don't think you know how talented you are. Your driving is incredible.

Just stumbled across this video.....That was incredibly fun to watch. The way the video is edited to match what you're doing behind the wheel makes for a very visceral experience for a viewer. Can't imagine how much fun you had doing this. I hope you followed thru and got to experience more rally driving. Rallying a properly prepped 911 sounds like a life changing experience.

The "eyes out on stalks" when Richard first floored the throttle was priceless, Jodie! Well done; you generally high level of skill translates well into driving on dirt. Next stop, a real rally drive??

Driving like that is such a good feeling. In my youth I had a Hillman Imp that I would thrash at maximum revs around the Devon lanes and farm tracks. Now I'm ancient, I don't have the opportunity to know if I can still do it, if the old ability is still there or has been lost forever. Great video, well done all!

I'm a diehard petrol head and going into our 6th lockdown in Melbourne Australia has meant that I have not had a chance to go on the road trips I normally do for the last 2 years.
