Mojo Jojo feels more like a boss fight than a stage hazard, he has 3 stages you have to go through before you can actually get rid of him but it takes so long to do and hes constantly targeting both players directly, he doesn't feel like a stage hazard but an actual 3rd player or other enemy.
Even if you get rid of him he destroys 60% of the stage leaving just a piece of it left and depending on the situation or character u use this screws you over cause you have less room to play neutral or keep your distance from the enemy
Im glad you also noticed Morty's inconsistencies. Someone on my channel said i was complaining about him. How can a player not provide feedback about how inconsistent and just busted a character is in a fighting game. The fact that people fall out of Mortys combos and that he lacks multiple kill options makes his gameplay frustrating like 70% of the time.
Ive said it before and i'll say it again, Morty needs his Ground up atk to be fire ring. He needs to be able to aim his grenads again. Maybe speed up the movement of his TP or get rid of the fact that opponents can see it. And lastly, just give his front punch (armothy) a bit more range/priority. Theres literally a little speed animation in front of his fist but you just cant land it without he fist basically being inside the opponent, while other characters hit you with the damn WIND from their attacks..
7:10. Something to note is that Morty’s grenades that he throws regularly and the ones that spawn from save point and his teammate have slightly different physics. Save and teammate grenades move faster, are easier to push and detonate slightly faster. Reg grenades tend to be more combo useful
Morty was my 2nd most played n the beta and he is a lot of fun. I think you said it well that he is very skill expressive. Morty’s can play different than other Morty’s. Which is canon lol playing Morty in MVS made me binge all of Rick and Morty and I loved it. Good vid man. What was the music at 8:20? Sounds familiar but I can’t place it. Morty mains unite 🔥😂 he feels awesome right now, struggled getting used to everything that changed from beta (I’m sure also getting used to the slower combat played a factor at first) but after getting acclimated to everything he felt awesome. Now with his kit actually working the way it should he just feels like a super rewarding character to play as
Morty is so fun but so shit to fight bro 💀 Also no shame in struggling to kill 😭 he has this like killing "range"? (Percent wise) And once you go past it it's just time to mash and pray you get the kill 😭
I swear I love Morty but this games community has made him out to be OP but like, he needs better physical attacks not grenades 😭 every character in the game. Including Jason, have most of their attacks come out earlier and be stronger combo tools. Morty just has an up air and a down air which occasionally hits depending on how the game feels. Maybe if they gave back the ability to cancel his first hit of the forward on land it’d be good but do you notice how you can land on the ground after the first hit and you have to wait an entire 7 frames for him to land while your already on the ground 😭 I swear the developers of this game got cooked by a pro morty in beta and just decided to make him objectively worse and more annoying than any other character who actually has combo game. IE every DC character can rush him. Bugs has more powerful and annoying projectiles as well as good physical attacks. Samurai Jack has no cooldowns and the biggest hit boxes in the game that combo into each other by mashing forward jab and flicking your stick and random directions. Tom and Jerry can just camp and will never ever be nerfed bc the game developers will prolly just keep nerfing Morty bc he’s the only real camper (Rick, Tom, Samurai Jack, black Adam, and agent smith smiling in the corner knowing they’ll only receive buffs) and prolly buff bugs and Wonder Woman and every other character in the game that’s already strong. Plumbus doesn’t combo. Jab comes out at frame 5 and I’ve got at least ten clips of it going completely through the opponent, same with down air, everyone else doesn’t have to use any skill to hit a wonder woman combo or play Jason, just jab jab side b jab jab up special into whatever tf. At least they can’t dodge out of ur jab like you can with Morty 😁😁 good news tho guys! Morty is getting a new passive that deals damage to him whenever he uses a special so no more pesky campers. However Tom and Jerry don’t seem strong enough so whenever Tom shoots Jerry he heals five health. Jerry is fully invincible and has twenty bottle caps that teleport into his opponents on use, we felt Tom and Jerry’s combo game was weak too so we decided to give everyone in the fockin game super armor on every attack. What it’s broken? Just use armor breaker lol, it’s not like that’s the only “answer” to dealing with armor (even with it the attacks come out fast enough to not worry about needing the armor) it’s not like we’re forcing you to use a perk bc we don’t know how to balance armor. We are playerfirst games, we definitely care about the players and not the money and we for sure know how to balance a game and realize what’s too strong vs something that needs changing. Please keep playing our game and spending money on it so we can add the power puff girls and have a Pyra and Mythra clone in multiversus but with a third option locked behind a pay wall!!!!!!!! Better spend money on this one if u wanna do well in ranked!
Honestly hype for ppfg bc if it’s anything like smash bros you’ll only encounter pyra and mythra online and swiftly realize the game sucks and hopefully playerfirst games does too and just shuts down the servers permanently
I used to love Morty but unless there’s some changes I’m just gonna stay away from him because the way you are forced to play him is to spam fair and kill off of side b into up air and his new grenades are so limiting like yes you can go like jab 1 into gun into nade but before his grenades were so cool and you can use them to start combos cover all of the stage cover recovery’s and more and also his single biggest problem is his insane lack of good moves like if you really think about it Morty’s kit sucks like his side b in the air and up in general are just for recovery and his up tilt and down tilt suck and his down air is very laggy and his down b sucks ass so the way your forced to play is like with 2 moves forward air and jab which by the way jab into lasso is not true for some god damn reason so i already thought of some reworks that could make him better so revert his side b on the ground to the way it used to be because it was fast didn’t guarantee kills and could still start combos and also it’s the whole reason why splitting nades is ass and then change his nades to beta nades but because of how much slower the game is make it so he only has one nade with a 10 second cooldown then give him a new up tilt because saying his up tilt is ass is an understatement give him an up tilt where he throws a nade upwards and it immediately explodes if you want to think of the animation just think of lebron up b when he doesn’t have a basketball it’s not a combo starter only an ender and it would kill at realistic percents next change is completely remove his down b its garbage the nade it gives is barley usable and they got rid of the hitbox and also for 2s the move is not possible to balance and replace it with a new move I’ve been cooking where he puts on an evil Morty eye patch where he now gets access to a new neutral attack a new b a new side b in the air and a new up b so the way the move will work is he can use any of the moves I just mentioned it will get rid of his eye patch and put it on cooldown so what each of these moves will do is once he puts on the eye patch his neutral attack instead of being a gun will fire and electric finger if you get you get it and will temporarily stun the opponent like when you parry them and can be used to start and in combos and it would not consume your gun assuming it wasn’t on cooldown so you could for example do jab new neutral attack down air double fair into normal gun into down air into double fair next his new b with the eye patch will throw out the nade that we have at this exact second except it’s 1.5x bigger and it kills a bit earlier and can’t be split so you can get a big nade that will just destroy an opponent if it hits next his new air side b will be evil morty yellow portal it’s kinda like Rick’s portal but the difference is that it’s only for recovery and nothing else because Morty disadvantage sucks so he can sacrifice his eye patch for a really good recovery then finally his up b will be a will do evil Morty’s robot arm thing and throw up 3 baby nades that explode almost instantly so kinda like his new up tilt but quicker better and can be used in the air and kill consistently and can not be comboed into also by the way his evil morty eye cooldown will carry across stocks so he just used it then died he still has to wait now that new down b would need some balancing but it would make the character more fun and creative so please change Morty for the better Sorry for the long comment I just really like Morty
