I’m 72 and recently divorced having been married for 49 years. I now look after me by doing exactly what I feel I must do first .get up make up and show up! Never say no if you haven’t tried first and walk every day. Positivity is the key . I’ve just been on a car trip that took me 12 hrs to drive it was the most liberating thing I’ve done recently. I also agree to moisture inside and out and remember nothing is impossible 1 started orientale dancing at 71 and it’s the best workout ever ! Thank you Nikol for all your support it’s really helped me . I have also joined a walking group and walk 10-15 kms once a week with them but daily normally about 3 on average . I’m feeling great and when I don’t I listen to my body and rest . BUT if I feel stiff or my sciatica plays up I do a small amount of walking and stretching to keep the joints oiled . The M’s are the key !! moisture and movement great for Mental health . ❤️

One of the greatest things about aging is something that was completely unexpected. I come from a Eastern European lineage, and I had super hairy legs and now at 70 there’s no hair at all!

Thank you, Nikol, for the reminder. I've been noticing that I need to focus on body moisturizing, get a routine started. My legs feel dry at night and I use Cetaphil fragrance free moisturizing cream from the jar, but I need to focus on my arms, etc. I do faithfully moisturize my face, neck, and decolletage daily. Exercise is a plan in motion. Heading downtown to sign up for the Y in Manhattan tomorrow and will be signed up to use the pool at my local VA this June. I'm a veteran and have to have my new VA doctor put a request in. Thank you for your time, expertise, knowledge and insight!

At 75 years old, yes indeed. Nothing on the legs or the armpits but boy do I have to check the face ~ chin & upper lip ~ often.

I’m 59. I cut sugar totally out of my diet and take vitamins. I work full time and have a very physical job .Lifting,pulling and a lot of walking. Some days I go to my second job cleaning houses for 3-5 additional hours.Then come home and walk the dog 3 miles.I also practice intermittent fasting.And very thankful I can still work that at my age!

I am 70, and retired from teaching 3 1/2 years ago. I started yoga classes after I retired, and it has been life-changing. I’ve always taken good care of myself and I’m healthy, but I feel younger and more energetic since I started yoga than I did for years before. I go to morning classes with mostly other ladies my age. It’s a wonderful, supportive community that I am blessed to be a part of.

Your hair was my inspiration to transition to gray and I’m happy to say that my color looks like yours and we have the same hairstyle. I’ve never received more compliments and 2 complete strangers asked me where I got my highlights! I’m 76 and started yoga 4 years ago and feel so strong and flexible now.

As a CFP, in Laguna Hills Ca in early 90s, I had clients who lived through marriage, and the great depression. Those gals taught me so very much... like when you have them, hold tight... live returns. Save & prepare. It has blessed my entire life. Those who walk ahead of us, teach us from experience and cate. Thank you for this video. I'm 69 and have so many health issues but like you I want to maintain a positive attitude! Exercise for me is so crucial to keep going! It's important for my body and mental health! Hydration and moisturizer is so important! My skin is so dry! On another note you look amazing. I can't seem to get my eye shadow to be as beautiful as yours! Thank you so much for all the positive comments! You're amazing!

Thanks Nikol. What a great video. I’m over 70 and practice yoga every day plus walk at least 2 miles. I meet an older woman who still wore the same size in her 80s that she did in her twenties. She swore by drinking water with lemon every morning. Never too late to start- I’ll be starting tomorrow 😊

With each passing year (there are 58 of them now), I find a new version of myself and continually adapt how I take care of me - exercise, diet, skin care, sleep, etc. The puzzle becomes more complex, for sure, but I just try to embrace the journey and joy of finding new products and methods that work for me. This is the reason I love your channel. You do so much of the research for me! Add to the mix caring for 2 elderly parents at this stage of the game and the challenge of finding time for self-care increases exponentially.

I will be 74 yrs old this June. I started doing yoga & core exercises in 2020. I recently added reverse leg lifts, starting w/3 on each leg & worked up to 7 on each. I am taking care of myself now.

Great topic and tips 🎉 I’m 68 and I do stretches everyday for pelvic issues, back herniated discs, costochondritis with the help of a physiotherapist as well. I walk outside everyday (but harder in the winter months here in Canada) so would walk in the house ☺️ I do moisturize my body after bathing, I now have a great skin care routine and I am a silver sister (trying the curly girl method instead of straightening my hair with heat tools). I have 2 apple cider vinegar gummies in the morning for acid reflux , lots of water , yogurt and healthy foods. I love your hairdo today, stunning 👩🏻‍🦳🌺 have a great day 🥰

I absolutely think you are amazing! I am 78 and had nine titanium rods put in my back 16 months ago. It was a year recovering but I’m doing quite well now. I MUST keep moving. Eating a good diet seems to help my energy level. I wasn’t certain during my recovery if I would ever be able to workout again. Now I look forward to it everyday. I appreciate all the work you put into your videos!!!!!

I will be 71 in Sept and you have been such an inspiration when I am feeling old and ugly. I'm not, but there are days when I am feeling my age and it's hard to be positive at times. Your messages are always so positive. I walk 2+ miles a day and lift weights at the gym but am feeling I need to up my exercise game. Thank you for your messages.

Nikol, thank you for another lovely video. I am 57 and last year gave up white sugar and really started limiting other carbs and prepackaged foods. I’ve lost 35 lbs and am back to the weight I was before having children. I started exercising consistently in my 30s but during the menopause processes I still gained weight. It took me some time to the accept that my diet was the key. I drink at least a 64 oz of water a day 1/3 of which is first thing in the morning but then I do need my coffee!

I have a family member who is in her late 80's. She is a dancer. She's survived cancer four times, but she is still doing extremely well, and I partly credit her dancing with that. She recently moved to Europe and is loving life.

Wonderful video..I also can’t start the day until I have my coffee. I try to drink water ..I drink a lot of ice tea with lemon. I am 78 and feel really blessed to feel so good. Iam a tennis player and Pickleball player. I sometimes force myself to stay active and work hard on trying to keep in shape. I unfortunately or fortunately have oily skin. I still break out (ugh). In the last year I have started with Zo products. Very very happy with the results and I also have a wonderful dermatologist..I sun block all the time. Thanks for another inspiring video. Hugs

What a beautiful and wise woman!!! What I do, mostly to destress from work, is take off my heels, put on my sneakers and walk every day, even around the block. Walking helps me calm my mind and put my thoughts in order. It's a great workout also.

I’m 48 and have been “healthy” and running since my teens - but noticed with age, my muscle tone was regressing as I hit my 40s. The #1 thing that had really changed my physic, strength, and agility has been the addition of resistance training.

I turned 70 yesterday....I still feel 27. The trick is to love and do what you love. I weigh myself every morning without fail - it is a discipline (I eat either more or less accordingly). The biggest thing is to stay active - keep your butt out of the chair as much as possible. Use a pedometer as a reminder to walk, to move. Put on your best face every day.

Pro and prebiotics are super important inside and outside especially as you go through and after menopause. I’ve found AHA washes and moisturizers are super important to the health of your skin. You look fantastic and your beautiful heart shines through your posts.

I really really love the message here…I feel the exact same way and I honestly don’t understand the attitude that women’s acting and modeling careers are over after you are over 30, 40 etc. Total rubbish, if we look at British tv the best shows are with older actors and actresses. Honestly, my life got better decade after decade, because I am getting more secure and confident. I do love to take care of myself but to a degree…I don’t really feel the need for plastic surgery (no offense to those who do) but I just love looking good at the age I am…i think women who stay fit, take care of themselves and enjoy their life, style etc. are the most beautiful in the world!! PS: love the nail polish!

I have been in a super huge funk lately, not sure why but watching this video gave me a spark. I'm going to wake up tomorrow, drink lemon water and go for a walk. Nikol another awesome video. I am 61 I have always taken great care of my skin . Having very sensitive and fair skin in Canada has been challenging at times . I have practiced yoga 20 plus years and yes I can still do head stands . I cycle a lot outdoors in the summer. I love when you share body care products something I need to spend more time doing and taking the time . Thanks again

Nikol, your beautiful heart and spirit are the most inspiring example for me. At 68 yrs., the chronic pain and constant stress from a car accident has chipped away at my mobility, my relationships, activity and even identity for years now. Some days, I find it uplifting to do my skin care and make up, even though it's just for me. It does make a difference. Your videos help me feel heard, understood and truly cared for. Thank you for all you do.

I work out in a water class 3 days and trying to walk 3 days a week. I have some back issues so the water exercise is very important. I am now 81 and I wear makeup everyday of the week. I love makeup and I do this for me as it just makes me feel put together. Because I take a certain medication that I can’t eat or anything for an hour after I am not sure about the lemon in water first thing. I will have to try maybe a little later in the day. Yes we should love our age as we are now losing friends and I am grateful to still be here! Thanks😊

I have lupus on my skin, not in my body. My dermatologist is constantly using liquid nitrogen, or has to biopsy them, to see if they have pre-cancerous cells. Then they have to be cut out. I know moisture is so important! I wonder if the products Nikol is sharing will help me. Nikol, you look so pretty today! I love your hair that way‼️☺️

❤❤❤ Aww... I love how you honour all decades and the older women. A friend of mine in her 90s inspires me so much. She is healthy, has a sharp mind and active lifestyle. Her secret in my opinion is she daily goes on a 45 minute (or more) brisk walk rain or shine. 👍🏃🏼 Carmen's tips: (91 yrs young fashion icon!) 1. *Moisturize* face and whole body. 2. Drink *water with lemon* every morning, and eats probiotic yogurt. 3. She wakes up and *exercises* right away (after drinking the water with lemon).

Thank you for showing me the PVolve last month. I love it and looking forward to hearing more about your PVolve journey. I'm 68 years around the sun and for 45+ years I have been running ... a lot ... like marathons and ridiculous daily mileage. After years of intense racing and pounding I realize enough is enough. The PVolve is a joyous change. I am stronger now than ever and happy to not get injured....LOL. I really like everything you mention about marrying the eastern and western philosophies. I “found” you this year. I am 73 and while I have used an aesthetician over the years, until you I never had a daily face routine but for several months, since you entered my life, I have a consistent routine with a nice variety of products and my skin is so different and very moist. I have a 24 ounce glass of water with electrolytes every morning before my coffee. I like variety in my expertise; I walk the golf course and walk my dog, do step aerobics and weight lifting. But most importantly I think is staying social and engaged as we age. Isolation is deadly. I put a lot of effort into keeping a healthy social life to support both activity and mental health. Oh…Nikol…I now have fun with makeup because of you and I love your products. Since we are staying active how about some tips on the basics to pack for skin care and make up when we travel?

This was a excellent video love it. I do moisturize my whole body I also excerise. I take care of my face, nails and hair. I’ve got my husband on a skin routine and he loves the results. We are in our middle 70’s and like looking and feeling good. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤

Seeing that I’m going to be 49 this summer, this is so appreciated. 👌 I just notice that what use to work for me, doesn’t work anymore. I’m in a transitional phase with my makeup, skincare. etc. I do take collagen now, it’s helped some but there’s so much more , it can be overwhelming trying to figure it all out

Yes. I found keeping it simple, hydrate, protect, gently exfoliate. Retinol was a game changer for me. It takes a while to work, I found that at the 2 month mark I suddenly really saw a benefit. And I ditched most of my makeup, I cover what I need to, add that red lip and call it done. I tell myself its the French look, LOL.

At 53 I have noticed that I have more success with my healthy lifestyle pursuits by pacing myself! I have begun to become more intentional with fewer things rather than overwhelming myself with trying to accomplish the extreme. I first had to get a grip on my mental, emotional and spiritual self and the physical is following suit. I listen to my body more instead of trying to hit up trends or compare my routine or regime with others. I help when asked and I’m grateful when others share. I think about it and see if it’s right for me. I’m also more focused on quality rather than quantity. It’s been freeing. Your content has been so encouraging as I try to navigate these changes Nikol! I am 77 and recently had a hip replacement. I have been gluten free for 14 years and and then went on a keto diet. I have also started on a carnivore only eating plan about 3 weeks ago. Already my nails and hair are growing faster and stronger and I am sleeping better.

I've loved Carmen for years! She's so gorgeous, elegant, and apparently ageless! I remember reading about her, in an assortment of women's magazines, for as long as I can remember. I think it probably started when she turned forty, then every decade since. I think it's great that she's still modeling, and is so wise about so many things! Hi Nikol. So recently I found an exercise I could stick with. It is a chair exercise to include cardio and weight training, plus thanks to your tutorials good facial products and loving raw sliced thin cauliflower, broccoli and carrots for my one meal( along with some protein and daily collagen) a day at noon. I'm going on 79, feel great, lots of energy. Sugar out of my diet and use raw honey to sweeten my one cup of coffee a day. I take vitamins and a probiotic. I don't feel hungry because I fill myself with those wonderful raw vegetables. I do dip them in a little salad dressing. As you asked us what we do, I thought I'd contribute. Thanks for bringing us into the conversation. I enjoy all your videos. So helpful to our overall well being.🥰🌹✝️

My skin has always been dry and bumpy. I call it "chicken skin". My mom coated my skin in lotion and would still be dry, flaky and bumpy. On a fluke, I bought a bottle of lotion by Eucerin at Ross. One application was so life changing! It soothed my skin, and didn't leave me greasy. Unfortunately, this particular lotion was discontinued. I don't know what the "magic" was in that bottle, but it worked! I have found that French milled soap has helped me more than body wash. Sulfates are so bad for me.

I use Rose oil on my face and message it all over my arms and hands when I'm done. Sometimes I use Neem oil, which does wonders to heal dry skin and eczema. I have to start moisturizing the rest of my body as well. Thanks for the reminder.

I’m 62 and loving my age right now. To keep myself as healthy as possible, I exercise at least 5 days a week with some cardio and I am now incorporating weight lifting as well. Little by little, I want to improve my strength and retain my muscle mass. I am also doing “time restricted eating”. I’ve spent the last three months in Florida and was out a lot at restaurants and drinking lots of wine 😊. Now that I’m back home in Montreal, I will be making an extra effort with the weight lifting and drinking a lot less wine. I love your channel and I’m also inspired by all of the incredible achievements of women my age and older as well. It’s a great place to be ❤❤

Love your videos and your inspiration! I implemented intermittent fasting a couple years ago as I reached menopause and that has been a game changer for me to manage my menopause symptoms. I also follow an anti-inflammatory diet and include some anti-inflammatory supplements (I am not on HRT).

I am 70 . Still having patientes everyday and I enjoy my profession as a phisiotherapist. In the morningprogramm is a coffe but after water supplements and may be an apple . special movings before all that . strechting and power but also balance. Afternoon gardenwor and housework or in the mornings when i got time. In the summer gym is outside in the garden🥰once a day every second day is jogging on a rebounder 👌🏻thats what i do for my in and outside. And of course always getting your fantastic tips I try to follow and practice. Thankyou Nikol Milk and yoghurt i cant eat because my body reacts with inflamation in joints😢

I've always done a lot of exercise, running, biking, swimming, but now I've become consistant with 2 things. Yoga and strength training. I still run, but feel the combination of yoga and lifting is ideal. I stay flexible, and i'm doing a lot for my bone health. Skincare wise, I've added body retinal, and for the face, SA serum, a weekly chemical peel (from the Ordinary) and as always, sunscreen. And Ive toned down the makeup, less stuff on the eyes and face, but still a red lip. Which I think us older ladies rock the best.
