Love the passive buffs, love the ult buff And the changes to his E and RMB all help him greatly for trades in the early game for offlane. Too bad Q got nerfed but it's all good
It's actually because I'm vs a Countess specifically. Her burst trade pattern is very easy to land (lock on -> aoe -> aoe -> teleport back). Whereas I have to land my tether, otherwise i lose trades. She's gonna build either Megacosm or Combustion first. If I did a T2 for 1 item but then veer off for a different item, by the time I get brimestone + Flux, she'll already have a full item and some T2s. And she has much higher kill pressure. Flux first allows me to be just as damagey and defensive at the same time. Increases my stun duration, and the haste is nice. 2nd item I went with tainted scepter. Since she'll have more AP around that time, she'll heal more. Tl;dr for offlane you really gotta build a little selfishly in order to contend with the threat in front of you for the 1st 15 minutes or so
@@amedkit that helps me out so much. so many times, I've had to go into a countess/shinbi/rik and I did the brimstone into flux and they just walk all over me. I didn't realize going flux first would work that well, for some reason I assumed it would put me behind seeing as I didn't have the extra wave clear with brim.
@MrSmoothJean yeah i know what you mean. It all boils down to 3rd tier item spike. Basically 1 tier-3 item > 2 tier-2 items From my experience vs the countess matchup, it's much better to just get Flux straight up and not waste any time
