Well kind of but the difference is there would never be a situation where you couldnt just parry aki super 2 instead of PP to live. Evo moment 37 was hype because he would’ve died if he failed
@@ZeventyZeven clearly, but it would still be hype in terms of difficulty and if it did lead to a kill or comeback people would go nuts im sure. Theres just way less practical reason for anyone to do so
I wonder whether that Aki's lvl2 super thing is maybe a bug. Most of multi-hit moves get a "perfect parry pause" between each connection. It might be because it works as a projectile, but I wonder if maybe it shouldn't? The way it works right now looks very counter-intuitive
2:11 how are you able to land these 1bar dr without losing 3bars instead ? i can't land these anymore since the update when MP+MK input leads to 3bar dr cancel
Hold parry the whole time, aim the second forward at the end of the kick's recovery. The game has a bit of buffer lineancy so even if you don't hit it at the precise frame the recovery ends, you should still get a gapless 3 frame drive rush. If you are still getting Drive Rush Cancel delay the forward a little bit more. As you are dr'ing for the next kick, dont let go of parry if you intend to continue drive rushing.
@@venivediicommented4046 the literal translation is "Tool Assisted Speedrun" but the term is generally used for gameplay which is achieved with the help of external tools the game was not designed for that help with or automate inputs.
And that my friends is why I say THIS AIN'T STREET FIGHTER!!!! they turned this MASTERPIECE of a fighting game into a parry match, Damn game should be called parry fighter!!!!!!😒😞😣 I'm sorry but this is hard to watch.. . I'll stick to Street Fighter 2,3,4, and 5. At least until they make a proper Street Fighter that's Worthy of my hard earned Money.

I appreciate all the work you do in my hands cannot do a continuous perfect parry at this point actually over the last couple of months I’ve had to do more labor at work with constant moving packages and moves with the arms and hands, I find my hands are not as quick for video games as they once were, I’ve been noticing a lot lately. There are things even streetfighter even some combos with the driver. I just cannot do nor can I do all the combo trials. I have to use the ways of finding simplified combos and damage output in a happy mix of a style for myself love streetfighter in general I’ve been playing it since 92 but truth is, I know this fact, I’m past my prime.

I’ve seen a few of them, but I’ve never seen you and it would be nice for your fans to meet you if you haven’t.
@@stevenoconnor5693 I'm sorry to hear that, did you know you don't need to double tap to do the Focus cancels now? You can just hit forward + MP/MK mid-combo. Good luck figuring that out and playing for fun is definitely the most important thing anyway! I've never introduced myself, I just try to make fun videos for people to watch :)
