Yep honestly that's the Cass experience, if you can hit ur shots he's actually insane, soldier could never. He can two tap you within a decent range and there's not much you can do. The other thing is how well he's able to survive just being in the frontline and gives so much value, and also tons of constant pressure

honestly it's the massive 25 HP, you're hitbox isn't a downside anymore. so your damage gets to actually role through them. You can't get away with standing in half these spots on Ashe.

As a dirty Soj main, the only dps I’m scared to face is Cass. He’s more consistent at hitting shots at range and has a faster TTK up close. Two quick dinks and you’re dead. At least Ash or Widow are early to deal with up close.

Cassidy is OP right now and I know what the true problem is. His kill potential is too high for him to have this strong of an overall kit. Hear me out. Every hero in OW has a different limit for their potential to dominate. The higher a hero's potential, the harder it should be to reach or come close to that full potential. Blizzard dont understand this key part of balancing and it's why Cassidy is so OP right now, it is too easy to get huge value out of him right now. Similarly, it's why Doomfist has to be countered to be kept at bay. Without being countered he can, and with a very good player, will dominate. Widowmaker has only 200HP and is easy to dive to keep her balanced, I think Widow is one of the only characters that Blizzard have somewhat understood the whole potential thing for. Cassidy however has basically no counters, he has huge potential to control a game with headshots, hinder is broken, right click hits way more shots ever since the projectile size change and he has an extra 25HP over most DPS for some reason. Cassidy will always be one of those heroes who can't be easy to play well because when he is, he becomes a super frustrating OP meta hero that everyone hates.
