Love it,... I pseudo retired from living in Los Angeles, CA. in 2008 and the music industry. I was a staff producer for Deathrow and Aftermath Records and acquired 6 Grammys nominations and crazy wonderful experiences. Then, I became sick of the rat race of being a producer and I started a family and moved to the mountains of Puerto Rico. Your page and journey has rejuvenated my musical appetite / juices. Before the my Los Angeles producer journey I was in the military and fell in love with Southeast Asia, particularity Thailand. Being that Thailand was never colonized, its economy is conducive to living a great life; NOW! SO,... I AM ABSOLUTELY PROUD OF YOU AND HAPPY TO SEE YOU RELOCATE TO THAILAND. I have a small home in Thailand and will reach out to say hello soon. Thank you for being you,... STAY AWAY FROM THE NOISE.
Definitely relate to this video hard. Although I'm in the states, most people thought I would end up in New York, LA, Chicago, Miami, Austin or whatever if I wanted to work in the music industry. Instead I'm in Oklahoma City making moves out here. I love it here and when you make moves in a less popular city it makes people more interested since they have NO preconceived notions or opinions about what you're doing. Good luck on your journey bro!
You have come very far my brother and i will forever have major love for you.. Your not just someone ive worked with ur my brother, my family! No matter where we both go in life its always gonna be love.. appreciate u forever and got u forever💛💯🏆 I support u and ull always have me as a brother..
You the main reason I got into beat making and was able to navigate logic a few years ago. I’ll always appreciate that. Good luck with your next venture bro.
Congrats Ocean! I’ve been feeling the same lately but with Barcelona. I’d never leave because I love our culture, the Mediterranean…but I feel like I have nothing to do here. Rent is so expensive, we are so left behind in the Spanish territory… it sucks. My girl and I are planning to move to Amsterdam in the next two years. Guys, believe in yourself and keep working hard. It’ll pay back❤
Good luck with moving to Amsterdam bro and be very careful with the scams. I've moved here and it was definitely the hardest thing I've ever done, hopefully for you it will be easier!
Tip from a dutchie: don’t move to amsterdam. It’s really really expensive, The Hague is a lot cheaper and there’s enough public transport to get to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam. Amsterdam is quite overhyped and you’ll get it when you discover the other parts of NL :) the provence noord brabant is cheap too but imo has a smaller local studio music industry
Well done Ocean!!! Really Proud of you. You are one of my biggest influences in terms of producing and the things you are capable of amaze me which makes you my biggest influence, so thank you. You have come such a long way and I pray and wish you nothing but the best my friend. Love from South Africa!!! will be waiting on that room studio tour 😉
Man this journey has been awesome as a viewer. You really took us on an amazing trip through music so far. Love your work, creativity and energy man. Much love ❤
I found your video through your RU-vid ads and I have been a fan ever since. It's so good to see your progression Thank you for this video - I learned a lot through it Would love to meet you in person one day and I'll be in your new home city soon!
"If nothing changes, nothing can change" - words to live by. Great video, and all the best for your latest move. Looking forward to seeing the studio space grow
Hi Ocean! First of all, i loved the video, it is such a vibe. Second of all, i genuinely hope that you will be able to keep on making great music in this new chapter of your life. You inspired me with the storytelling and all that. Good luck.
Congrats!!!!!! Your ability to speak so freely is truly inspiring. I'm in a similar situation right now. I moved from Argentina to a small town in Colombia to improve my mental health. I needed to escape the rat race for a while and find myself again in the process.... JUST THANK YOU!!!
My guess is Ireland😊 haven’t checked back yet, but, I started to produce music when I was around 15/16 years old. I went through some mental health things, and ended up in 3 months of wilderness in Utah, and than 2 years of a transitional living in Idaho. I moved back home to Nashville Tennessee. Got into a really toxic relationship. I had two seizures and it was really rough. Long story short, I lost my passion for making music for about 3/4 years, I haven’t even touched logic or fl studios. Now, Im saving up my money, and working on making my way back towards the mountains of Idaho, and start my journey over as a music producer😊 You and Kyle Beats are all I watch right now. You’ve made me start to be able to be passionate again about producing music.😊
broooooo, haven’t watched u since like 2021 but u along w kenny beats absolutely shaped my lockdown, making beats and just learning to get better 💪 ty for the sauce n all the best fr 🙏
Thanks for the story. As a buddying music producer,i have learned alot of what to expect in the industry especially that of sudden relocation here and there because of inevitable circumstances. You need strong muscles to handle such kind of pressure and making of difficult decisions when they arise. Thanks again for sharing.
This seems to be a year of renewal because two studios where I work are demolishing their buildings and moving to new locations. I have also moved, purchased a new car, and refreshed various aspects of my life. Renewal can sometimes appear daunting and challenging, but embracing change has proven to be the most rewarding decision I've made recently. Anyway, great video, and best of luck on your new journey. 🙌🎶
I'm not a producer, but this video is brilliant! The way you come across and the quality of content is amazing... You deserve the best of luck with your new venture!
the video has incredible value for me! I'm having trouble moving forward at the moment and am trying to figure out how to get out of the hole. thank you Ocean! See you in the studio! greetings ATBeats
I appreciated your constant productive perspective on music and your work flow in general. The way you are constantly reflecting and growing is awesome🔥🤘🏻
Proud of you bro, you’ve come so far. It’s definitely good to take a step back and reevaluate. I think more producers can use this. I’ve realized silence and peace is so important for me to think clearly, I find myself not listening to music as much, to keep my head clear and focused. Keep up your content bro, good stuff
Bin watching you for a minute still and learned a lot seeing how u come has been amazing keep progressing and gd luck with your new start love and support bro 🙏
@LeonNeuton it's a great setting vibes wise, sea and mountains. It's a recent move but i've seen there are some good studios & producers around. More for the environment tho
@@forbiddenriddimz Blessings from Jamaica 🇯🇲... When you thought London vibes meant tea and crumpets but it turns out exploring different vibes on your Beatstar! Some tough JCole hip-hop type sounds, but London's cultural mix has me curious about your Island Riddim too. 🎶🌴
@LeonNeuton big up bro! lol I hear you. I'm of Jamaican and Cuban descent. I make a lot of styles & tend to keep my island sounds & others tucked away from my site. Those ones I pair up with artists or write to myself. Like Ocean mentioned tho, there are also a lot of people doing the same thing in London. But there is also a lot of unique talent, it's a melting pot cause of the big mix of cultures
@@forbiddenriddimz I was just scrolling your IG and got transported a beat, reminiscent of an ole funky guitar sample, the intricate production - your talent shines through in every detail. When the beat hit me, I was like a detective trying to crack a case! Those funky guitars riffs had me bouncing like never before. You're talented, you had me wondering if you're secretly J Dilla reincarnated! Keep slaying with that crafty ear of yours! Jah guide my young King.
Watching Ocean's channel since he was in that little room with the MIDI making tutorials on trap beats. Look where he is right now. Makes me so happy humble talented people like Ocean making it through. Keep up brother
I wish I can afford the setup like the one you called minimal but I will still make use of what I have This video makes it clear to me that growth will happen eventually
Living the dream man. All those memories are haaard. You deserve it tho, been watching you since you were under 50k subs and your grind is inspiring 💯 Enjoy the new chapter!
Wow I can relate to it so much. I moved ot the capital of Norway (where i Live) and all im doing is just doing studies and music. I would love to move out of the capital but still be in Norway to start a family, wich is more important to me in life. Thanks for inspiring me and your fans!
I wanna move to London , but this happens to me all the time since I started making music. Every time I release a song or something the energy just change in my studio that I have to re arranged the studio move things around other wise the energy feels heavy and I can’t create . Good luck on your new adventure bro!

Wow way to go bredda.I had to rewind the vid just to make sure i heard you right about Thailand Big adventures await and cant wait to tune in and see how you get on and see the new space. All the best for the future.
Thats whatsup man. I live like an hour or so from bkk in sriracha. I wish you well on your path my brother. You may have already been but check out chiang mai and pai if you get a chance. Also the mae hong song loop is a vibe. You can rent like a mini cabin out on a mountain and at night the sky is out of this world. Super refreshing and absolutely gorgeous. 🤙🏽
Ocean! You are the reason I started producing music! I couldn’t have been getting better at producing music and finding people without your tutorials! I’m forever thankful to be in the Ocean gang forever! ♾️
A different environment helps with progression sometimes bro. New experiences also create new ideas so, I can only see this as a plus for you bro. Also Thailand is sick place and has a lot of opportunities. Good luck on the new journey my bro 🫡
Congrats and Sawadikap to you bro! You gonna love Thailand, South East Asia Hip Hop is very huge, i am sure all the Hip Hop artist would love to make a project with you and get you placement ❤
I'll say I've been working from my home studio for 7 years now and it has been going well. I was thinking about moving to a major city (which I still will have to), but this video tells me to stick to what I been doing and follow my 80 / 20 rule.
Welcome back to Southeast Asia! We actually rolled in jiujitsu years ago in the Philippines. I got no musical talent at all but I really enjoy your content, cheers!
DAMN DUDE i subscribed when you had 22 subs and Im not a day one supporter or anything by any means. I just subbed to do it and i didnt keep up too much. I think I had a vid of your pop in my feed years ago when u had like 2000 subs and I was impressed but to check back in now and see that you now have 400K with placements and all this stuff is CRAZY congrats man that is so fucking inspiring. means you have been doing things right following your gut
Even though the circumstances for the movement where not the best, I have a great feeling about Bangkok working out really well for you. Can't wait for more bangers mate. Keep it up brother.
