I can't explain how much Hamza's Hijrah Diaries series was so refreshing and so authentic, it made me mentally prepare for so much. There was one in particular when Br Hamza was talking about seeing the forest for the trees when he was ordering coffee at the train station, lost in thought and train left him. Its so easy to forget the bigger picture. Hijrah is so difficult man and sometimes the dubiety is ever-nagging whether it was worth the compromise with so many forces wanting you to just go back. But inshaaAllah khayr.
