Wow. As a retired U.S. Army and Afghanistan veteran, I felt every lyric of this. It brought to the forefront emotions that I had long forgotten or suppressed; it was very cathartic. Thank you.

Thanks for doing this song. I joined the Army the day after I turned 18. I signed up for four years but stayed for 28. I spent 13 years overseas with four combat tours under my belt. My wife is an eight-year Army veteran too. Now our kids are carrying on the tradition we started.

As much as we all mourn for those brave 13 Americans who fought for the freedom of Afghanistan against the evil of the Taliban; this song should should be dedicated to every soldier who fought for right against wrong, from every peace loving nation on earth, of every period of history. For the soldier who was brave enough make take a stand against tyranny, whether he be the chivalrous Polish knight riding to save Vienna, or the honorable American marine holding his ground at Kabul.

The U.S Departmentt of Defense and the National Army has been serving us for so many years. We should respect them for their service. If you ever bump into a United States soldier, you have to say "Thank you for you're service." That will remind them back in the day when they fought for America.

My Jefe likes this song because a couple of the people in here look like my Jefes friends when he was in the 101st airborne, and as a veterans son you grow up a ' tough ' life but they're really just trying to teach you young, always thank a veteran you see, and tell them thank you for your service.

I served for 10 years in the US Navy and I love this work of art. I can see this cadence getting very famous in basic training commands across all branches. ^.^

This song takes me back to basic when My platoon and I Graduated and became actual Infantrymen walking across that field made me feel like I had made the right choice and that I had become a better person.

This song reminded me why I wanted to join the Marine Corps.. i may be getting out after 4 but I got what I wanted and even through the turmoil I went through to get here, I’ve never been more motivated by anything like this other than receiving my Eagle Globe and Anchor. I appreciate all the vets who served honorably before me, and the brothers and sisters who served honorably but didn’t get the chance to go home. Without the inspiration I got from you guys and gals and my own military family I probably wouldn’t be the man I am now.

I may be a junior right now but I’ve already made up my mind in joining the airforce and I’ve already been talking to a recruiter and took the test so that when I graduate I’ll be on my way to the airforce base here and I’ll be proud to protect our nation
This is an awesome song guys! Thanks for making it. That was SSG DePalo calling that cadence for basic trainees. Some of those cadences hit you right in the feelings with a metal lunch box. That’s definitely one of them. You guys nailed it with everything together!
