Jong-un Kim Usually when you leave your young kid alone they end up doing something stupid like empty out the entire trash can on the floor, jump in the furniture, draw on the tables or smear soap on all the walls of the bathroom (stuff my little sister enjoyed quite a lot when she was younger). And if you leave a puppy (or an adult dog with way too much energy to spare) alone they’ll usually eat your entire house up. So my brain strongly associates being left alone with misbehaving. Obviously I don’t think they expected their dog to misbehave when they left her alone for only a few minutes, I was just making a joke.

@@kukguroki4179 the point here is that it’s kinda useless to try this sort of thing outside, since you don’t want to leave your dog completely alone, and if you try to hide you WILL be found, unless the dog has an abnormally bad sense of smell. It’s much easier to do it inside of course, as you can comfortably leave the dog by itself (so long as you feel confident that it won’t wreck anything), but trying to hide from a dog (especially when you’re in a spot close enough from which you can see it with your camera) is pointless.

@@Seiryuu03 yes, that is a good alternative, and I’ve seen another video that did exactly that. It was more effective imo, because the dog really showed that he was lonely when they left, and then explored the house a bit. Point is, he acted as though he was alone, which is the point.

She knows their not far, she can smell them and find them with ease

I don't think that's what she thought at all. She probably has no experience with abandonment and therefore no reason to reference it. They obviously keep her brain occupied and challenged. She probably thought of it as a game from the start.

My brain definitely went here, all our rescues were abandoned at the park before they came to our forever home. I also doubt Sky has any reference for abandonment.

I love the shepherd breeds- total velcro. I have had 2 German shepherds and it's rare for you to even be ABLE to step out of site. A friend called them heat seeking missiles. Lol

@@Kelly_Ben yeah..I had a German Shepard when I was baby. All my baby pictures..there she is. Right next to me guarding me..my mom said she wouldn’t let anybody close to me (other family or strangers) she was good protector. Unfortunately when my father went to empty the trash one day lady ran ahead of him and a person hit lady and kept going it was devastating for family. After that my father started a company selling pet insurance it was back in 1979 this was the first companies I think to do it

I remember being about 7 in the car on the way to get my pic taken with animals..he put me and his best friends daughter on the brochure. I wish I still had a copy. So many things went missing after my father passed😞...but I got the memories at least
