We're doing SIMS TRIVIA tonight with duckdan and kryticzeuz on my Twitch channel! Zeuz has been dating Vixella for a while and he's been best friends with James Turner (formerly known as TheSimSupply) since childhood, and Dan is literally married to lilsimsie. You'd think they'd know more about The Sims, but they... don't. Let's test their knowledge! www.twitch.tv/lilsimsie
It would be interesting to see the difference between unskilled Sims left for 12 hours unpause and skilled Sims left for 12 hours unpause in the same house with the same situations
That would actually be really really interesting, you could do two completely separate games but with the exact same sims in the exact same house except the first game with them starting out as blank slates and in the second maxing out all of their skills just to see what they managed. Sorry I get that's exactly what you just said 😂 I just got excited. Could also try to make a household that covers as many traits and types of aspirations as possible.
I did my own little experiment after watching your 12h stream. Everyone woohooed constantly EXCEPT Bob and Eliza who are literally married. Judith and Don Lothario died simultaneously in the pool. Everything was permanently on fire. 10/10 would do again, and also can't wait for the 24h stream!
Bob Pancakes is the most loyal sim in all of the sims 4. In all the years I’ve been playing I’ve never been able to get him to cheat on Eliza. Sometimes I’ll go over with my sim and when I try to flirt he’ll kick me out of the house. It’s happened more than once. So yeah, get you a man as loyal as Bob Pancakes I guess 😂
@@duckey3681 literally there must be something in his code that makes him have undying loyalty. I’ve never gotten him to betray Eliza without cheating the relationship or adding him to my household.
@@zephyr3693 it’s just cause he’s a loner, so he doesn’t like flirting or being social in general. It’s pretty easy if you have high friendship to get him to cheat on Eliza. Especially if you have the beguile trait.
I used him for a legacy and I got him to leave Eliza. He was sad about it and Eliza kept calling him up to hang out or something, but he eventually got over it. I think that its really hard for him to be able to leave Eliza lol.
A Sim with the Good trait will actively mourn at every opportunity and I couldn't handle the permanent negative buff so I stopped choosing that trait in CAS. It was especially awful in my legacy game when I set up a family graveyard on the lot and they mourned relatives while the ghosts were standing right there. 😂
I love the dollhouse idea. Sometimes I get frustrated navigating my builds when they’re made conventionally; this could be a way to enjoy the game focused solely on gameplay
The scientist career is fun. It gives you the Sim Ray and the Satellite Dish. There is also the cloning machine that is interesting. It can duplicate even magic potions, and, ultimately any of your Sims. Nice to test some crazy thing. Do something suicidal with the clone to see how it turns out.
@@Kualinar I had two of my Sims in the science career but I mostly focused on their family life, and honestly, just the freeze ray is a blessing. A nifty side effect is as long as you keep the freeze ray in your inventory, you can stop any fire immediately, without your hygiene even lowering. Since they both had a fear of fire, it was so useful.
This is a really good way of presenting this video, rather than reading the notifications and deducing information from that. This is like a highlight reel!
So funny, one of the things I actually witnessed live was featured here in the video, but it's even more ridiculous than you think. If I recall correctly, Vlad was outside SO long because he was politely waiting for Bob to come out of the pee bush before he drank from him, so it added just that much more time out in the sun. It was SO chaotic. XD
Sims autonomously grill all the time. If they're even slightly hungry they will go for a grill and make something rather than cook I've found. Also, caring for the babies doesn't surprise me. I have to lock them in a room to prevent the entire household from rushing at the child.
Grills take priority in the game, they always have since Sims beginning. If you got rid of the grill, they use the stove. Grills cause less fire, and need less skills.
I’m doing a 100 baby challenge and made a club with all the dads in it. I set the club activities to cook and clean, and I bring them all over twice a week to hang out. One thing about the cooking or eating action for clubs, is that they’ll continuously make food even if all the other Sims in the club are making food. It’s absolute madness. So maybe Kayla can do a challenge where you have a cooking club and enough stoves / grills to go around and see how long it takes to kill someone with a fire
I made 2 clubs and set their activity to be mean and fight the other club. But for some reason whenever they do club gathering they literally NEVER fight nor be mean so I guess the club feature is broken for this particular activity 🥱
sims can never autonomously eat the cowplant cake twice or do anything that'll get them killed like that. (such as getting crushed twice by the murphy bed) you'd have to use a mod to make it so they WILL do that, so i'm curious on what happens if you do use one.
@@TeenyTinyTiggy so, for clarification: the sims 4 is kind of baby-proofed to prevent most sims from dying. MOST. if there is a death caused by multiple interactions with an object (murphy bed, cowplant, THAT sort of thing), the sims will never autonomously do it. it's why they never took from the cowplant twice. there also might have been a case with vampires going inside when burning, which is why vlad survived four or five times. however, because he was stuck in a long action, he couldn't do his autonomous action of running inside. that's why he died.
The exact same thing happens to my vampire Sims all the time! They just go in the sun and die, SO MANY TIMES! I once Player with a Generation family and moved the daughter out. Her vampire dad cane to visit and just kept on waiting in the sun in Front of the house until he died. I Tried everything to get him inside, invite him in, talk to him inside the house but He aparently just wanted to Burn on the doorstep 🤦🏻♀️
hey, why don't you make them sunproof? you can easily do it with the vampire points from when they level up, it's not a cheat. I think it has 3 levels, the 3rd one making the vampire fully sun-proof. It's not hard to get at least level 1 🤗
@@recordtapesbackward thanks for the Suggestion! I knew there Was some way to make them sunproof, but i though it was one thing you could buy with the aspiration points. I will Look into it next time 😊
It could be ineresting to try this in previous versions of the sims, to see how they compare. Have sims gotten better at taking care of themselves over the years? Perhaps they're more likely to start house fires in the Sims 2? Or maybe they're incompotent at caring for toddlers in the Sims 3? Who knows? I'd sure like to find out.
Before starting this type of challenge, I want to see a sim player cheat everyone’s cooking level to atleast a 5. It’s guaranteed if you leave them unsupervised with low cooking that they will likely die. I’d like to see what else happens if death by cooking fire is eliminated.
I’m curious about that too. I maxed out the painting and unlocked the never sleep trait for one of my sims. Now if I’m not controlling her all she’ll do is paint and cry.
i want vampires to have more self preservation! i need them to hesitate at the door kind of shy away and put both hands out nervously if i try to make them walk outside the first time if theres sun. and most importantly! portal to the human outside, grab them!, and phase back into the dark to suck their blood!!
Definitely gonna stop by tomorrow because this looks really fun, might get my chores done early so I can watch the chaos unfold with no distractions lol
Idea. Do a wheel of random things to swap out in the house hold during the 24 hour run. Make little goals of like 6 hours or something. Maybe even try to have a house hold of different sims like alien, vampire, magic sims. Try using like the ice cream machine, popcorn machine.
You should add some emotion-enabled objects. Romantic auras for flirting, inspired auras to see if it gets some sims to cook. And playful auras can make a good death-trap; so many of my sims have killed themselves with laughter... OOH, add chickens or llamas for even more chaos.
i do this all the time. in fact, i leave my sims alone on purpose and i watch them as they make choices. it turns out, as long as you lead a guiding hand but don't force them to do anything, they learn how to become fully independent and over time, my sims just became really good at keeping their own needs up. then again, i added drugs, sex, and violence into my sims 4 game so sometimes it goes very very wrong when im not looking... Bob pancakes has done horrible things to my sims family. i wouldnt trust him near a flower.
Bella wouldn’t stop mourning him? Sounds like my sister’s game. She killed off an unwanted sim, and then the new sim wouldn’t stop mourning the one she never knew.
If you didn't want to include the grill, you could set up a toddler only room with a doggy door and use the food display thing from get to work so the toddlers don't starve but the adults have to fend for themselves
There are mods and cheats to disable popups? That's actually amazing. I'd love to try this "challenge", so if anyone has recommendations for those mods, that would be great :)
i wonder if she set it to where the initiator of woohoo would get pregnant because Eliza was the initiator with Bob and Stanley was the initiator with Eliza it seems like
I love the Eliza and Bella situation because in my game, they're actually married! Good to know their love continues on in other Sims universes. Love your channel :D
You can use MC Command Centre to increase the maximum number of Sims in a family. Give it a try with 50 ! That's right, now, your family can have 50 Sims in it. I'll always remember when my vampire decided to Sun bath in Sulani... When her vampire energy was low. On a bright Sunny day. R.I.P.
Back when I played sims on the wii i finally made this couple max their relationship (i didnt know how to use cheat in wii or in general at the time so it felt like such an achievement) and thought alright ill let them get married later. Got hungry so went down for lunch for abt 20 mins and left the game unpaused because i figured mehh they just keep watching tv anyway theyll be fine Came back to see them in a middle of a fight, their love meter at zero and them turning into enemies with blood red relationship meter.. Needless to say I learned my lesson about leaving sims unsupervised 🤦🏻♀️
This was such a funny video!! My poor fiance is trapped with me on a five hour flight and he was very confused as to what I was laughing at. He doesn't understand the sims and I have no way of explaining this video without sounding like a lunatic. 😂
I think the intense mourning is a bug, I have a sim who is out mourning everyday, multiple times a day. It got so crazy, everytime I clicked back to her she was outside
The asterisk names are intriguing to me because I have a sim who not only birthed herself while I was playing another family, but named herself as well. I’ve never seen that happen before or since.
My laptop glitched while playing the sims a while back. I left the laptop open while I went to work (about 5-6 hours). I expected it to crash because it was frozen. It didn't. I came home and my sims had gone through several sim days and were all close to death and angry. Good times.
You should use MC Commanf Crnter to extend the household so you can start with 8 sims and see how many babies get born and if any are cared for better than others.
I love the idea of livestreaming the video so that when you come back you can watch what happened. I think that it's really interesting to see what Sims get up to when left to their own devices but I want to be able to see and well as get the notifications.
You can add "repair objects" as a club activity. Could be another way to allow things to be fixed but still have the possibility of wet pants if all the toilets are broken at the moment.
@@recordtapesbackward Yeah, but you can start one and just let it keep running. As I accidentally just did for two days...I have a household with 6 kids (I killed all the adults but Johnny Zest and 6 kids and 1 toddler were taken in by him, you know, normal stuff). They have a club for doing homework, socializing, and cleaning up. I started a gathering when they got home on Friday and forgot it was still running until Sunday. Nice point total!
Are there any lot traits you’d like to consider for the 24hr stream? I can’t help but think of James Turner’s extremely chaotic ‘every single lot trait’ experiment
When setting up the house for the challenge yesterday on stream, she put a ton of the lot challenges on and some of the lot traits to make things more tricky, but she was going to do some tweaking before it starts.
I have a build challenge idea. Every room is a different number of tiles. Use Google to give you a random number, and that's how many tiles you have to use. You could end up with 23 tiles for a bedroom, but only 9 for a kitchen, for examples.
You should definitely do this again but with the Better Autonomy Mod, it would make this soooooo much better, please try it because im sure it would be extremely fun
Not ashamed to say that I was planning on popping in and out of the stream but ended up having it playing all day while I was studying and watched the while 12 hours because I just didn't want to miss anything! 😂
I wonder if Bella has some sort of hidden trait or something that makes her especially sad about death because I have a save where my sim is best friends with Bella and has a random grave on the lot. Bella will come over to the house and immediately go to the backyard and start crying over the grave. I don't think she even ever met the dude.
