Paul Lee, 28, moved to Bangkok, Thailand from NYC three years ago. He lives in a 650-square-foot one-bedroom apartment in the Thonglor neighborhood, which Paul says is "the SoHo of Bangkok." The apartment came furnished, and Paul has access to amenities, including a pool and a gym.

Yep, I come from third world country but Bangkok is considered developed and modern for several reasons: 1. **Infrastructure**: Bangkok has a rapidly expanding public transportation system, including the BTS Skytrain, MRT subway, and Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The city also has extensive road networks and ongoing construction of new expressways. 2. **Technology and Innovation**: Bangkok is a tech and startup hub in Thailand, with continuous advancements in digital technology, such as 5G, Smart City initiatives, and the development of cutting-edge software and applications. 3. **Economy and Business**: Bangkok is an economic powerhouse with fast-growing industries, foreign investments, and the presence of many multinational corporations. It serves as a key financial center in Southeast Asia. 4. **Lifestyle and Entertainment**: The city boasts world-class shopping malls like ICONSIAM, Siam Paragon, and EmQuartier, luxurious hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife, making it a global destination for entertainment. 5. **Education and Healthcare**: Bangkok is home to renowned universities and hospitals, offering advanced medical technology and education to enhance the quality of life for its residents. Thus, Bangkok is not only a city rich in cultural heritage but also a modern metropolis leading in various areas of development in the region.

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

This is the type of thing I support. Going where things work for you. This guy found the place that works for him, and many people in the comments echo his sentiment. I'm happy for them. I also love that everyone is different, and I can live in the north central US, where COL is low, the landscape is subtly pretty, and car infrastructure is widespread (I enjoy driving). I'm someone who appreciates geographic diversity, and the northern plains is perfect for me, specifically on America's population divide, where I can go east towards the many large cities of the upper midwest, but also west, and be in the mountains in less than 5 hours. I love snow and the cold, and could never live in the south. This is far from everyone's perfect reality, some want large cities with more job opportunities, while others want small towns where they know everyone and have a higher degree of privacy and control over who they interact with. Also, some people never want to deal with snow, while some think it's the only thing that makes winter fun. I think the ability to move somewhere that you like is one of the most straightforward ways to deal with many problems, and I think a lot of people know what they want, but they know less on where they can find that stuff. Keep traveling people, you might find your favorite place, even if you think you already found it.
