I bought dot & key hyaluronic acid on your recommendation, and I was actually feeling that it does not give any long term effects. Mandvi Singh I have tried it and it is very nice and affordable, I can’t sleep if I don’t have balm on my lips because they get so dry, so I was worried of using Vaseline (the only one that helps me and doesn’t have fragrance) 😢 and thought to give a try to this one for being natural. And it works amazing, although I don’t understand what they mean with whitening your lips, I think making them pink 🤔 because yes they make them pink and soft 🥰

First of all thanks for mentioning the fragrance issue, and I will request you to do this all the time because I am very sensitive to fragrances,if I use a skincare like this it evokes a hypersensitive response . And then It takes guts to come and own up all your mistakes and honestly you deal with skincare which remains unpredictable for most part so it not even a mistake. Thank you so much for being honest always😊. At first i was also so desperate to get my hands on dot and key products,bt as being a student it's not so pocket friendly. So i waited, then i read reviews of these brand in nykaa nykaa, and it was not impressive at all. There were much more bad reviews than good ones. Then i realised that it's a overhyped brand and i must say they do very good marketing and attract customers by doing so much social networking, and providing good packagings.

I'm so glad you spoke your heart out regarding Dot & Key. Since I purchased the entire light blue range from this brand and being oily skinned, I did not understand all the hype about these water based products, since it badly failed to even moisturize my skin post chemical exfoliation. But I'll be honest, I do like the Laneige lip mask, it's much better than the lip balms of The Body Shop (the only lip balms I've ever tried out)😅

You are soooo right about the laneige lip sleeping mask, I also bought it because of all the hype. It forms a weird layer with really sticky texture and doesn't give a moisturized effect. But till now I was not ready accept this because everyone was talking good about it. Now I am relieved that yh there are some other people out there who feels the same. Thanks Mandvi ☺️

Love how you come back and correct your mistakes. We all make mistakes but not everyone corrects them. Since a lot of us buy our products based on your recommendations, I am glad that you took responsibility and came out here and told us your changed opinion. That way the ones who haven't yet bought products can save their money and the ones who have unfortunately spent it, can still respect you for coming on your platform and telling us not to further invest in that product. I generally use Laneige as a layer for retention of moisture, hydration...so yeah it's not a one step product...but if you have it and you wanna finish it off, you can use some lip oil or hydrating serum and pack it up with Laneige.

It's true some times we think that lets try some affordable products there is no harm in that but we don't realize that there is no good in trying products which are not going to benefit us. Omg thanks for posting this video, I was considering to dot and key purchase this serum. I have heard it contains perfume and I can't stand it because I have very sensitive skin and a more sensitive nose. Every other beauty vlogger said it has a mild smell. Thanks for being honest and I feel the same about the lip mask too, for my skin, it didn't even do a thing and I felt like applying vassaline with a berry smell. I Love your honesty ❤

Thanks for doing this kind of video. And about skincare.. I do take your recommendations, nidhi's and Priyanka's as well. But I guess Shreya Jain's thought on this that most important thing is that, every skin isn't same. Even seasons change things for the skin. So generally skincare didn't work for some one shouldn't be taken as hate for the product. Like laneige lip sleeping mask has worked wonders for my lips, I was reluctant in using such an expensive lip balm but I had a real chapped skin flake on my lips then, which denied to go. N it was huge black spot. The laneige lip mask healed my lips. Infact in winter's I use it twice, no other lip balm on this earth has ever worked so well for me till date. So yeah SKINCARE IS SUBJECTIVE.

*Finally it's here❤️❤️❤️❤️* *Please try Vaunt skincare's Vitamin C water. It's beginner friendly and has pretty good reviews* *I have never liked Dot and Key because they have too much fragrance for my liking, I am already sensitive to it and I think their products are quite overpriced. They do not provide the entire ingredient list and also their packaging is very very similar to Frudia skincare. For me, all of this is pretty shady* *About the laneige lip mask, I have been watching Hyram for a long time and he doesn't like that product, he said the same thing that it just forms a layer and as soon as you remove it your lips don't feel hydrated* *Also, please try reviewing some products from Dermitecture, they have a lot of good products like Niacinamide serum, hyaluronic acid serum, barrier reinforce serum, NMF Barrier repair cream*

@@mablebabu389 it will help with pigmentation if used consistently and if it's not genetic. I initially found it meh , but then loved it. Its small but hydrates for a long time , but you need to exfoliate your lips , it's not like the lip balm which you can use on peeling lips because it would make it even more chappy , unless you apply too generously! But its worth a try and really good for me so far :)

Great you made did this video. This always good to tell people what's the real thing bcoz actually some people just buy products seeing their hype in the market. I used so many and in the end my oily acne prone skin got so irritated that it look about 6 months to be normal Even now I have acne marks and this will take 3 or 5 more months. The thing is.. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, it's not supposed to give you long term benefits. A humectant attracts the water molecule of the atmosphere, and makes your skin feel plum, however it's a temporary effect, it should instant effects, it's not even supposed to show long term effects.

I love dot and key vitamin c, i have very2 sensitive skin, when i say sensitive, the extreme sensitive skin type😅, i am using it as a day moisturizer and it glows my skin + the cc cream.. , don't know about there other products. Mandvi Singh I have Same option about Lanege Lip mask and plum products. Does nothing. Mask Stays on lips as it is till morning neither did it lighten the lips. It’s just that we see celebrities using it and obviously RU-vid influencers suggest it . What do you think is better than this product ? you haven’t suggested in video.
