to be fair , It doesnt take alot to roast orokin considering no one talks back to them so they arent bright on comebacks besides sending goons to attack and kill you as their idea of a retort . Now they're nothing more than a dying rebel force .
I'm glad to see the Entrati are still Orokin in spirit. It would have felt wrong for them to simply be nice to everyone just because they are allies. Let's not forget we massacred these people once upon a time.
Kaelli, Kahl's not a Tenno. He can't shoot lasers from his hands and smash sentients with fancy swords. He's just a lancer with grakata in one hand and a corinth prime in the other. "Kahl not afraid. Kahl help brothers."
I want to give Kahl a hearty pat on the back. Then I want to steal Tyl Regor's research, finish the cure for clone rot, and give it to Kahl as a present.
I really hope that as this quest progresses Kaeli will be able to get over herself. With the Entrati as the last Orokin left alive, they need to not make the same mistakes that got all the others killed.
True. I hope so too but then maybe idk they would because they think gods, powerful include their own empire evening though their own empire and others has been destroyed. plus their ego, pride and entitlement blind sight them.
@@introvertindividual I don’t think the Entrati family was quite as heartless and self absorbed as the Orokin 7 were. To some degree of course they had issues, but I think they were extremely humbled by the infection of Deimos. They seem to care much more about their research and work than themselves.
@@Headlock123456789 That's definitely the case with Grandmother, son and father but Daughter and Mother still seem to have a bit of that old orokin in them. Even if it's not as bad as Ballas, left unchecked however they could end up being just as bad as the 7. Thank God Daughter has Khal and Mother has both the tenno and her family to keep them in check
The problem is orokin can come back in 2 ways. One the wierdness of what is now other timelines... But also some of them might be in back ups. Like moon or other orokin ships that holds data of them. And Grineer queens also are Orokin, at least they were
I find this dynamic interesting. Kaelli is still very much the privileged Orokin child of a noble family, playing freedom fighter with Kahl....who isn't the "white knight" the Tenno are. She likely never saw the Grineer as people or even animals like her fish. But at the same time, she was worried about Kahl during Veilbreaker to the point of screaming his name, insisting he save ALL of his brothers, and calling a favor with us to save him. If DE plays this well, I see a rather interesting relationship developing here...one I don't think either is expecting...
here it really shows that while the entrati, as orokin, have still SOME respect towards Tenno (what with preserving their power, but also tennos were rather high ranking in orokin society, similar to dax), the same courtesy is NOt shared towards Grineer. Its not like many suggest that she doesnt realise kahl needs to plan, rather, its that she considers Kahl much like a child thats just going to pout over something silly. Gotta remember that if the tennos were viewed as tools, grineer had it far worse. Its just her cultural bias showing here. And hell, i bet she would have been happy to treat Kahl as completely disposable and just abandon him if he gave the information after getting his gun as he first said he would, and nt think anything about it. After all, hes just a vat rat like billions of others, to be treated no better than vermin should they get in the way rather than being useful. And her seeing kahl as an ally doesnt change that view completely. Kahl is doing a great job of ignoring his own prejudices though. Last time he interacted with a tenno, he just quickly spat on the corpse of one. Now? he was a little hesitant of having tenno help (understandable considering tennos are litteral genocide machines towards grineer), but after getting said help, immediately discards all grudges and is genuine when calling you a friend for helping him and his cause. Also, I want either to be able to give Kahl the clem mask, or have kahl and Clem team up.. even if only for their fondness of grakatas.
Damn nice reply. Sad but true because to the higher up orokin they using them like kahl as pawns while the warframe are to them as knights. So it suck that kahl is disposable or least I hope not because he shows he different from the rest of the grineer or open their eyes, hopefully to show that grineer have feelings and go through n being put to a place that probably they themselves (grineer) didn’t know what they doin or where they heading n by the time they knew it was too late.
Kahl 175 isnt a mere Vat Rat anymore, after getting sent off to die by Vay Hek, breaking free of the Narmer veil, and freeing Brothers. Kahl 175 is so much more. I think it would be cool if Kaelli and her brother could whip something up to stabilize his physiology, but I doubt the writers plan to flesh him out that much of a character.
hell it gonna take alot to stabilize his mind especially where he been through regardless. It gonna take a long time to do it but i hope so too cause even the operators, of course been through alot also.
@@introvertindividual I cant speak about his mental state, I was referring to the fact that Grineer are decaying due to their degraded genetic information, copy of a copy, and so on...
Kahl was right to tell Kaelli off. This isn't Sonic SatAM, Fish Girl! You should have known going in that being a Freedom Fighter isn't all explosions and heroics. If we just charge in, weapons hot, we're gonna be in a lot of problems really quickly. So please, for the sake of Kahl's sanity, go do something to kill time and let the grown-ups plan our next move!
nice. i like that. n I agreed. She like a rich girl think she knowiing stuff when she actually doesn't. Kahl, well, he knows well too much that he could just feel it and through hell.
@@ilhanthediamondcrafter9767 Forgetting that we have a literal living supercomputer aided by other supercomputers and trained super soldiers (or possibly... two trained super soliders per super soldier? Assuming each Tenno has a Drifter, and they're sufficiently different consciousnesses). She has 1 Kahl, given that she isn't exactly HELPING.
I like how in his words he understanded that he is only in the beggining of the beggining to make the world for his brothers a better place. -Understood that the higher ups only thinks of how to maintain themselves alive and not the grinneer -Milions are still in Narmer hands -He can try his best but he still has the same aging problem as any grinneer, becoming a time bomb who walks When he almost died with the ship crash while escaping from Narmer he understood that although he weren't saving everyone, he was saving enough people to come back for them later
About the aging problem it might be easily fixable for him or at the vary least mitigated after all he lives right next to a person that has a Orokin era genetic manipulation technology on hand we even do a similar proces to our Kubrow all the time by repairing their genetic code (unless they retconed that when they removed the need to do it gameplay wise but I am 85% sure it's still canon) and at worst we would be able to raid another cloning lab for all the info we need like we did for Alad.
@@jankieek8218 I don't think it was retconned, just removed from practice since it was costly in terms of time spent on the upkeep. And you're right, Kahl's longevity could become a thing since we have Orokin era tech to help stabilize that stuff.
Now I haven't gotten this interested in Warframe in a while. Looking forward to how Kahl and Kaelli's relationship would go as we progressed through the quest. It's a nice dynamic with one being a Ginier foot soldier and the other Orokin nobility.
@@introvertindividual The short version is they were narcissistic prudes and everyone hated them. Edit: Not a joke either. That's actually a lore-accurate summary.
I think my favorite part about Kahlua is that when he says brothers he doesn't just mean grineer. He means corpus too. Anyone who's been under the effects of narmer is his brother
One. I didn’t know that was his real name. Two. Yea I kinda been notice that. He also is happy being around Tenno included. He say “he ready and have Tenno back”.
I love Khal and his new faction/family. It's not like the other factions in the game where their all nice and are just in need of help from the tenno. No, Khal is here for his brothers and to kill namer, Chipper is here for money and parts and Daughter is here cause she's "bored". Khal is the only one who's actively doing good for the sake of good. I'm so glad we have a faction that's at least kinda morally grey outside of the syndicates
Kaelli is a nice one, but she is still an Orokin Executor. Being a privileged elitist piece of shit is in her blood. Good on Kahl to give her a weekly allowance of reality checks.
Not right now. Kahl has his own mission, and it kinda differs from SM's. SM protects people who can't defend themselves, Kahl is out to rescue his brothers and demolish an entire death cult. Kahl's mission is this a lot more proactive.
A good reminder that during the time of the orokin era, Grineer were consider THE lowest in term of caste system (like warframes, they're nothing but product, manufacture to do Manual Labor and later become cannon folders to hold off the sentient, basically slave) while tenno and normal humans were slightly higher (slight, tho kinda indifferent), and the only way to reach the top is to become an Archimedeans, which is pretty hard if your family is a farmer or a warrior. edit: or anything that bring interests to the orokin
Wow ok true. It sad also because the lowest ones like the grineer has something to say of where they been through, what their experiences is like, n what affective them n how much it effective them mentally, emotionally, physically n etc.
@@introvertindividual Not to mentioned the founder of the corpus, Parvos Granum, is used to be a farmer, that's like peasant level, worse yet, the caste system tho simple to manage and efficient in a long run, the flaw is that it only make rich stay the top (orokin) while the poor stay poor. (both human and grineer) Edit: and in Parvos case, there is almost no way he can progress higher since been farmer doesn't give you alot in term of income + the system.
Oh boi, a team composed on factions that have had the biggest beef lorewise an orokin girl who believe themselves as golden gods, a tenno who participate an the mass murder of said orokin and currently has beef on the grineer (and having murdered one of their queens) and clone soldier who still resent the orokin down to its genetic material but has to work with because its either that or let your brothers be narmer cannon fodder.
Blue Girl is subtly reminded that while she gets to sit in a flower for centuries arguing with her family and “being bored”, some people are out there fighting for their lives and to make a better future.
Hulk think Kahl need to use more wordy word in vocabulary and up his linguistic skills because its not exactly rocket science to sound brain damaged . My guy is upgrading so of course his intelligence is growing with it too ..
He can't help it. The Grineer are _clones of clones of clones of clones of clones._ Kahl is intelligent, but he speaks the way he does because of the developmental complications of being a copy of a copy _of a copy._
Eh, I could see someone in Kahl's situation choosing not to bother changing his style of speaking as a sort of reminder of who he is/ what he's gone through
i don't really like the dialogue between the two. it seems like a oblivion npc conversation. at the same time, kaelli treats kahl like shit. what's the point of them having dialogue if it's just kaelli stomping on kahls nuts all the time. kahl is just trying his best. that's more than what kaelli has done in years.
@@introvertindividual The conversation before this one I believe. The story was that Kahl's original plan was to set up his Garrison at the Necralisk, thinking him and Kaelli were friends now. Kaelli was NOT happy about this, because 1; her mother would not be happy to have Grineer- "filthy clones" in Kaelli's words- setting up camp in her front yard. And 2; no one in her family must ever know Kaelli is doing Freedom Fighter stuff behind their backs. As a sworn guardian of the Heart of Deimos, she was never allowed to do such things in the first place. Kahl apologized for almost starting shit with Kaelli's family, but Kaelli basically said apology not accepted. _because Orokin's gotta Orokin, I guess..._ This is why Kahl called himself a "filthy clone" in such a mocking tone. He was throwing Kaelli's own words back at her.
@@blackheartzerotheundergrou3225 That's what you get for throwing shade at the guy who's trying to be better than most of his kind. Kahl really is just built different. XD
@@dizzyheads Well, he may not be, but the fact of the matter is he's not shouting 'for the queens' and trying to kill non-grineer. After all, he didn't have to save the corpus crewmen aboard that murex alongside his fellow grineer.
Rawest line in all of Warframe. I'm so glad some of the writers actually recognize the depth of the Grineer. Almost makes up for my operator going "The Grineer used to be builders. Now all they make is war."
I like Kaelli, but it makes me sad and disappointed at her seeing how she treats Kahl. At the end of the day Kaelli is still a child. Of course she'll grow up to it eventually, but this conversation makes me want to step in and set the boundaries for her childish act. Poor Kahl doesn't have that many choices. He even apologized to her. Kahl deserves respect
She's not only just a child, she's also an Orokin- the living embodiment of privilege. She's probably never gonna "grow out of it". Not on her own, anyway. Here's hoping Kahl will be a positive influence on her...
Actually both you, ILHAN and Blackheartzero are right, she is treating kahl like a child or to me, in my opinion, a boss or a spoiled brat playing soldier trying to a real soldier who actually has ptsd. also he worry about his brothers and tired of everybody using him and them as toy soldiers. I also hope that the things she see in kahl perspective include listening and seeing where he been through and going through still so that later on she could be more open minded and wise of how effective it is, to kahl, to be out there in a everyday war zone and trying to survival, hoping to survive and finally one day live.
Kahl definitely does deserve respect. and i hope Kaelli learns from him later on and learns from her own mistakes to so that she could be wise to try not repeat it over again. I like Kahl.
i feel like maybe, which is funny cause when we seen teshin and we was like oh ok cool, this gonna be fire but when we play him, veso n kahl. I believe, in my opinion, the best one to play with to me was kahl, second was veso and least of the majority of players was teshin. crazy huh?
Viso could comeback as a "Brother of parvos" as parvos saves corpus who die honorably and are loyal to the corpus cause just like he did with Vala glarios
@@thecommentguy9380 All the corpus sisters he saved were not in the granum void they were just in a corpus ship. pretty sure he can teleport people around just like he does with the Treasurers that carry the granum crowns.
