I appreciate them moving Bangkok Rush up to Wave 4 (instead of Wave 5), cause I love playing it in Tour, and Singapore is also one of my personal favorites! Waluigi Stadium was a nice surprise after the whole Wave 3 shuffle with Maple Treeway, as I thought they’d move it back. And the Yoshi Track is gonna be sick, with Birdo being an long awaited addition alongside it! If it feels like I’m rambling, IM JUST SO HYPE LETSGOOOOOOOO 🎉🎉🎉!!!
in the little preview video for DS Mario Circuit, you can see a very giant wiggler roaming around which i think is a reference to the very giant wiggler at the end of mission mode, which i think is an incredibly cute reference my homeboy's roamin
I am sad my favorite tracks aren’t making it in (I mean if wave 6 doesn’t have 3 new tracks and their just placeholders) but hearing the Figure 8 Circuit music in game was just a magical nostalgic feeling and I honestly can’t see it any other way
I unironically was convinced this trailer wasn't real for a brief while because the tracks "looked too good" and I'm not sure if this is a good or a bad thing

This pack will be a mainly new experience for me, as over half the tracks I’ve haven’t played before, and with DK Snowboard Cross and Waluigi Stadium in it’s a big W for wave 4!
I’m personally really happy they chose ds mario circuit rather than ds airship fortress, fortress is too overrated and was also in Mario kart 7, so bringing it back into Mario kart 8 would be pretty lame, not to mention it’s a simplistic layout with no shortcuts(aka another waluigi pinball) and sure, Mario circuit is a also a simplistic design, but definitely more complicated than airship fortress and atleast has has plenty of grass shortcuts compared to 0 shortcuts 💀. I honestly didn’t think they would pick Mario circuit either, I was expecting delfino square to be the main contender but even so this is by far the best mario circuit and most interesting one so I’m happy they added it.
@@AhtNFG sure that’s a good point, but when it’s last lap, and your falling behind on airship fortress in Mario kart 8, good luck trying to catch up and shave some time off with your power items when around 8 other people are already doing the same thing, gameplay wise Mario circuit is just the more healthy option in the long run compared to airship fortress, if it was added sure people would be happy at first, but 3 months down the line after the hype and nostalgia is completely gone people would start noticing the flaws of the track and it would lose popularity, just like waluigi pinball😭. I’m not even trying to say airship fortress is a bad track nor pinball, I have fond memories of it in DS and 7 and hell I was actually hoping for delfino square instead, and now I’m honestly happy we didn’t get either cause gameplay wise that wouldn’t work well with Mario kart 8 neither. Trust me bro Nintendo made the right choice here just give it a chance!
Because all the options are garbage. Airship Fortress. If you actually look at the design of the track, it’s really simple and boring, and it wouldn’t even have the purply sky anymore… Delfino Square. Overrated af and also just not that interesting… What other DS tracks should they have chosen that aren’t a Bowser’s Castle or Rainbow Road?
Airship Fortress just isn’t coming so you can give up on that hope, and Wario Colosseum has almost a 0% chance, especially considering the fact that they added Waluigi Stadium…
There was no better DS options though, Airship Fortress wouldn’t fit and is also kinda boring layout-wise, Delfino Square is super mid and also just wouldn’t work that well… On top of that, it seems that they’re reworking DS Mario Circuit to be even more interesting than it already was…
Wario Colosseum definitely won’t be in after Waluigi Stadium got in. I’d be surprised if they picked DK Mountain over Dino Dino Jungle considering we already got a DK track this wave, and you get shot out of a cannon in both of these too so it’d make no real sense to bring DK Mountain

Yeah, no, DK mountain is still 100% worth a spot. Also... Dino Dino? Why Dino Dino? Yeah, it doesn't have a cannon, but it's... what's the word? Not fun. That's the word. Also, waluigi stadium negates the far superior Wario Colosseum because... why? It has the same music, but otherwise it's an entirely separate track.
@@TheAmericanMushroom400 you’re being very blunt. I’m going to come back here and laugh if either of those don’t make it in. DK mountain has a chance but Wario Colosseum unfortunately has no hope. Also, DK Summit and Mountain are both similar beyond the canon: they’re both DK tracks where you’re shot up to the top of a hill/mountain where you then make your way down with several pieces of terrain that aren’t ramps to trick off of and half pipes throughout, with fast moving obstacles near the end (boulders and snowboarding shy guys). I agree with you that DD Jungle is less fun, but realistically it has more of a chance.

Plus, unless you work at Nintendo, you're in no position to senselessly say that one of Mario Kart's best tracks has "no hope." Besides, who cares how likely it is now for DK mountain to get in, every person on the planet has a right to be livid if it doesn't. Paris promenade? sure. SNES mario circuit? you bet. Kalimari desert? of course. But the best track in mario kart? No, where the hell did I get that idea? Nintendo seems to be basing which tracks get in off of absolutely nothing and it pisses me off. I think you are incorrect in assuming DK mountain can't get in because there's already a track slightly similar. Plus, the fact that you seem to think DK mountain has half pipes implies you only played it in Wii, which also had DK summit, so they can clearly coexist.

no one asked… + all the city tracks that are about to release are WAY better and more fun than the other cities, so it won’t even feel like city tracks…

Heck, I bet half these kids will still hate even the most complex cities in 8 deluxe due to them simply being “Tour nitro tracks”, they sadly look at the Tour tracks based on the stigma of the game they came from, when they *should* look at the tracks for what they are.
