Blessed Love to all King and Queens of Rastafari. I am blessed to be live a livity of Rastafari. I grew up in Brooklyn and Queens NYC. My mother was a missionary in church. I grew up in a mostly christian home. I always new that I was more than just a religion person. I was a spiritual being. I am proud to be a Rasta Empress. This journey has not been easy for me. I know that this was my journey in life. I love the natural state of me being a Rasta Empress has help me in raising my daughter as a single mother. My daughter is now 22dyrs old. I often prayed to Jah for a Rasta King to be married to. This will happen in June 2017. My Rasta Kingman is from Jamaica, He is also a Rastaman. The difference is that he was born into a Rasta family, so it alot of learning from him. He is learning from me as well. We are looking forward to starting our new journey as husband and wife. I would like to be apart of this as a Rasta Empress. Jah Rastafari
Thanks for all the positive comments. If this documentary has helped at least one person better understand the Rasta way of life, then it has fulfilled it's purpose. On behalf of the crew, thanks for viewing our project. :-)
Big up to you and your team ! Brought back memories of my days at Mystic Vibez reasoning w Danny "Dread" Selassie. And last but not least Empress Makeda on Rollins radio.. Big up to the Adebesi Family ❤

Love and respect from San Diego and Tijuana. I don't have dreads and I'm not a vegetarian. But I'm trying to change my diet. My main focus is Peace and Love. Living in a community helping others in need and sharing what I have with those around me.
I love dis so much! One love blessed! I woke up and sed da same thing to my self I’m a Rasta dat want to live da Rasta way of life straight from Jamaica 🇯🇲 I need some teachings from a lady wit da glasses
i'm a rasta but I have no gurus, no idols, only jah, everyone is their own sovereign everyone is free, everything thinks their own good thoughts, and everyone shares them, this is how we grow the tree, also by planting physical seeds, and good images, with diversity, rastafari! be yourself, INI!!!
the first thing you have to give up is their world..n come..look into your inner self..no one can tell you about yourself but you..and within you is JAH..if i have seen you i have also seen HIM its up to you to strive to perfection or destruction..
Give Thanks Rastafari for this lovely and beautiful short documentary which breaks down the basic meaning to those who don't know about Rastafari. Wonderful job iyah! Blessed love! Ras Omar from Morocco
Greetings and thanks for viewing our project! We are not really selling this production for any kind of profit but we ask and encourage you to continue to watch our video as many times as you like and please pass it along to friends and family and those who you feel might be interested in learning if even a little bit about this way of life. Thanks again and One Love!
i am not jamaican ,or african or even religious however, i have raised my son completely ital , vegan organic , he is now 22 and has never had a haircut , his grandfather is jamaican but definitely not a rasta . i really like your video . big up fam .
this documentary made me cry tears of joy. I've been searching for a way to go off and live a simple life away from the greed that dictates modern society for quite some time now. Rastafarianism seems like a lifestyle of simplicity and peace. the only think i worry about is not being accepted for my skin color. (yes i do realize that in this video you said no one is judged for their skin color as a rasta, but could it still be a possibility?)
love thyself and all brothers for we not knoweth the hour, the i shall come...revelation tell of us churches dimiss us,but jah love us.... rastafari live in scotland and everywhere
this video is awesome the way of life for a rastafarian is amazing i think that the way they live is how we was ment to live all over the world if we did we wouldnt have war
If you love humanity, if you love earth, if you want to live in positivity and if you share love with your fellow man - you are living the Rasta way of life. Vegetarianism, struggle for rights, truth, precious life, love - who can argue with that concept? Live everyday to the full, reach your goals and dreams and just be happy that you have your health!! Peace and Love. RastafarI!
Bless up Rastafari.....I wonder what these cats are thinking now on 6/28/20... after all the protests over BLM...be blessed, love, community, humanity, nature...love...
Blessed love, in the name of His Majesty the documentary was righteous. How can I purchase a copy of this magnificent documentary? Rastafari Selassie I
@BigLittlePlanet Just because Rastafarians promote ife, livity, kindness and love, doen't mean they are going to accept and or promote everything Babylon promotes. A bigpart of the Rastafarian faith thatthis video convientanly left out, was that Rastafarianism, was established, and mainly promotes, Afro-centrism, and a connections to your roots and culture. As well, as adhering to main principles of the Bible. One of the main ones, is man should not sleep with man..etc..
As good as this video is, it presents the 12 tribes interpretation. I subscribe to the Bobo belief that Rastafari is for melanated people. The fire burns rampant in my belly!!!! BOBO MI SEH!!!! Haile.
Moon Roach - You don't need to practice Rasta it is a way of Life nit a rehersal..You have to be born Rasta or your not..Rasta is a way of Life Only..You can just Live good that is all God wants..🌙🌛
Jah is the name of God, as in Hallelujah = you must praise Jah! Jah is actually the short form of the so called tetragrammaton YHWH i.e. 4 letter name of God as given in the Bible, commonly vocalised as either Yahweh or Jehovah unfortunately mostly written away as The Lord. So, Jah Bless, means May God bless you!
@bronxshawty16 Sizzla Kalonji is a Jamaican rastafari reggea artist. A concert he was going to have in Canada (if i remember correctly) never happened because some of his songs had homofobic lyrics. Ofcourse they can be rastafari and oppose homosexuality, but not neccesarily because of their religion.
I am a rasta but want to know since Haile Selassie had one Queen and was crowned 👑 next to him.is rasta polygamy or monogamous.please give me your views
Not many people know this: "Rastafari has certain rules that apply only to women. Whilst early Rastafarians probably followed these rules strictly, women tend to have more freedom in modern Rastafarian society. -Women are known as Queens -The main role of women is to look after their King -Women are regarded as subordinate to men -Women are regarded as housekeepers and child bearers -Women must not commit infidelity -Women are not called to Rastafari except through their husbands -Women cannot be leaders -Men are the spiritual head of the family -Women must not cook for their husbands when menstruating -Women must not wear makeup, dress in promiscuous clothing, or use chemicals in their hair -Women must not use birth control, as it is regarded as a European tactic to suppress the development of the African population. -Women must also abstain from abortion which is regarded as murder -Women must cover their hair to pray, in keeping with the Biblical teaching in 1 Corinthians 11:5: "And any woman who prays or proclaims God's message in public worship with nothing on her head disgraces her husband..."
Well that explains a lot because my cousin was apart of the movement in the 70’s they only wanted her to read most of them were illiterate and changing rules
I ans i jah rastafari. Can u make more videos of dis plz cuz im christian but ome of my close reletives are rastafairan so it would really help if somebody rold my things like if i have to give up bacon and egg cuz i love that
My Sister your place will be were the King is, in New Yerushalayim in the Father's House, with the God of Isra'el, there is were Rastafari want his children to be, so when time come to go, Go because all old things become dust, don't look back, don't go back to get nothing just run to the King, The Holy One of Isra'el is blessing you, Amen. Shalom.
Hailsalasie of Ethiopia had lions in his palace which he gave food and yet his people in North Ethiopia were dying of hunger. Today there's a war going on in Ethiopia between themselves because of impunity, greed and segregation. The president of that country has segregated the people from North Ethiopia and that's why they are fighting. It's a big shame for rastas to tell the world that Ethiopia is where kings and queens belong yet they are doing wrong to their own.
I understand that Rasta is a ideology, and avoids being an organized religion or "ism". So how does one learn more about Rasta specifically how to learn through personal connection, not a video.
