This single moment has stayed with me ever since this series began. Amazing

I love the way this scene is carried out. In the beginning you see her the way Naofumi sees her, a kid. As she calms his heart and he opens his eyes, he finally sees her as an adult. Goes to show when you are blinded by hatred and sadness, you don't see how beautiful it is around you.

Seriously, we all need someone like Raphtalia in our lives

Such unwavering loyalty and support, this is why Raphtalia is the best. If we can have one person like that in reality, the world would be much less darker.

Erica Mendez nailed her role as Raphtalia perfectly! It was only a year later that she would voice another sword character, but in Genshin Impact. Ahem, Ayaka. ^^ 🦝🐕🗡➡️🇯🇵❄️🗡

It was at this moment I realized I’m going to love this anime.

I haven't even seen the series, but this is possibly one of the most adorable things I've ever seen.

How can anyone not cry at that scene. After all the hell he was put through after becoming the shield hero, he finally realized raphtalia is the real deal when she promised she would always be by his side. Naofumi really deserves all the good that happens to him. Even after Malty of her trash of a king/father made him out to be anything BUT a hero, he still went out of his way to help people like true hero (even if it meant cleaning up the messes the other three caused). Raphtalia is one of the best girls in all of anime. Who doesn’t love her?

In a world where everyone thinks of naofumi as a terrible person its nice to see someone like raphtalia that truly cares for him.

This show was one of the Few truly Good Dubs Crunchyroll ever put out, though I'm still annoyed that they didn't include the English Cast in the credits.

This is basically any of those InuKag fanfics where Kagome's a half-demon and Inuyasha's a human.

So emotional and heartwarming, it brings me to tears. 😭Both protagonists suffer so much, I have yet to see Shield Hero but I intend to once I'm done with Re: Zero and I've heard that the protagonist of that series suffers a lot too. 😅
