I second all of this!!

If you start out watching some hours of guides and gameplay and play it for a few months, it's gonna click and it will be the best shooter you have ever played. Buddies can actually make it harder at the start I think, because you lack getting a feeling of what to do autonomously in a group and especially solo. Like how to use audio, how and when to move slow or fast or flank. Buddies are great, don't get me wrong. But practicing solo is more important.

I am on my first wipe, bought the small game and have been in love with it from day one, had some players show me the ropes a bit, traders, scaving, pmc, etc but the learning curve is massive along with the maps as well, so you can spend a lot of time lost or tabbing out to look at map genie. That said I'm lvl 37 a mining for 40 or 45 perhaps before next wipe. One of the guys I played with stopped because of the war in the Ukraine... holy fking virtue signal, so I've been on my own for 6 weeks or more, I love the team aspect and look forward to finding a group that can com and do tactics well, as my last group was more individual in their styles, 5 guys with guns, but not a legit team, but that's also Tarkov, people like the freedom to do as they please and do not understand one for all and all for one... oh well. Give it another try, it's the best ever and I played top tier competitive paintball for 15 years, Canadian Nationals Indoor champs 2x back to back... this game makes me scared sometimes lol.

I felt the same and switched to offline SPTarkov to practice for a few hundred hours. I honestly think it's the best way to learn the game.

@@dmtaboo_truth7052 HI! How does that work? I bought the biggest EFT package when it came out and have yet to understand all the basics and keybinds. I gave up after a few hours. I'm a veteran DayZ player so I understand MOST of the mechanics, I just can't apply them in Tarkov.

@@Koz_Dany It's a modded version of the game that hosts your offline raids on your PC instead of BSG servers, and it lets you keep your offline progress.

@@mafiagaming1847 Im running it on a HP lol but its got a few upgrades and mainly I swapped tarkov to an added ssd... it made all the difference with load times and how the game ran.... before on the old drive it would only run interchange and factory now I can run every map with no issues

@@gavinjohnson8409 oh shit nice. See I bought a Acer nitro pc with nividia GeForce 1650, but my GTA modded servers dont load up good and lags. So I was worried tarkov would do the same. What do u think the issue is? Cause I'm buying tarkov soon
