My outlook on money changed when I realized someone making $200K can retire broke & someone making $80K can retire a millionaire. With the current market movement, you have $100K to invest. Where are you investing it?
I operate a wide- range of Investments with help from My Financial Adviser. My advice is to get a professional who will help you, plan and enhance your management skills. For the record, working with Stacey Macken, has been an amazing experience.
Honestly, I'm surprised that this mrs Stacey Macken is mentioned here, came across a testimony about her from one of the beneficiaries on the CNBC news, she seems to be doing extremely well.
Everyone in my high school years and even a few years after would constantly ask me where are you going to college, what're you gonna major in? And every single time i would say im not going to college. The response i got more often then not was you have to. I got into several arguments with people over it. Cuz no i dont have to go to college. It's my life. I get to do what i want. The thought of going to college crushed my soul. Guess what y'all? Im doing ok. I dont have a ton of debt, im happy, i think for myself.
If you do what the masses does, you will end up in the mass. It's good to be different. People will dislike you for it. They will probably even call you weird. I always took being called weird as a compliment. It's one of the nicest things someone can say to me.
I graduated in 2000. I went to community college because I was not going to get into major debt. My parents gave me like $1,000 towards my first semester, but that was it. They didn't have the money so I had to pay myself. I only went for 2 semesters, and I flunked out 2nd semester because I was way too into my car, hooking it up, and modding it at the time plus I was working 35+ hours a week. I also realized that college was simply not for me. I was a 2.85 GPA student in High School. I truly didn't have the patience, and focus to go to college for 4-6 years to get a BA degree. Half of my friends also took 6 years to finally get their BA degree. One took 7 years. The economy is not set up for everyone to go to college. Actually, college was never meant for more than maybe 40% of the work force to even go to it. Pushing college to EVERYONE made zero sense in the 90s, and 2000s, and we are now seeing the effects of that action!
I'm with ya, I'm 24 and I rejected college a long time ago I rather have less and focus on my youtube channels, acting career, working out and living simple like I rather be debt free and building my own thing and in my opinion it's a far better way to live, I don't have much now but happier than most people n just subbed man💯💪🙏.
If you have a mortgage, you don't own a home. The bank 🏦 does. The system is only concerned with getting you in as much debt as possible. In doing so, the powers that be remain in control. 😳
Of course that’s just a loan like any other loan. The saying is when you own your house outright, you don’t really own it. You’re paying rent to the government in taxes.
The banks creating this superficial value on property has really ruined the future of anyone born before 1986 afford a home, it’s soooo hard now, I really feel it’s gonna be close to impossible to afford something nice in california.
Yep. I have an associates degree and honestly, I didn’t need it. Thankfully, between my dad helping me and taking six years to complete the degree (so I could work more), I am debt free.
It's not about sense. It's a about subservience and being a good wage slave that shuts up while the sociopaths enjoy the good stuff. I'm not saying that one should pursue only hedonistic things, of course. But let's not kid ourselves. Wealth and pleasure matter. The big wigs know exactly what they're doing.
Do you actually have a clue about what it's like working in a corporation today? You don't get paid based on your skills, you get one salary for life. No raises..
My friend what crazy about the Internet is its infinite and scale able. A job isn't in a way that you can "grow" your income "passively". RU-vid is such a lucrative business and opportunity for anyone to "make it" if they put in the time or effort. The fact this guy mentioned selling your soul at a job is what I thought about selling your soul doing other things but deep down inside you are unhappy that's why we change. Thanks to you and others I've taken the leap of faith and am now pursing content creation and other business ventures to grow my income passively without the strain and constraint. We will all make it
I have never 'chased money'. In fact, I hate chasing money and/or people. I have always subscribed to 'improving my mind'. This has served me well. I began my working career in the skilled trades (Journeyman). The skill sets gained during those decades has also served me well. No one can take them away. The same goes for 'improving one's own mind' via study, research, reading, more study, more research; no one can ever take that away from you. It also didn't cost $400,000. Currently and for the last 30 years, I now work as a business owner and digital entrepreneur. I never have to 'ask or beg' my boss for a 'day off'. 'Traditional' thinking is a fool's errand and millions of miles away from 'original and critical thinking'.
The whole idea that they could have bought that house resonates with my grandparents. In Norway, where I'm from, buying a house used to be cheap during the 1950s. They bought it cheap. But now it's costly. I could probably mention a few other things that kind of frustrates me. Luckily I've never been bullied at work or had a horrible boss. And in Norway, you probably have better protection, but we still have some way to go as far as protecting workers against that horrible shit
Going to college was the biggest mistake of my life it ruined my mental health and worsened my social skills to a point where i've become a recluse. I wish i sold street food out of the get-go instead of going to college, but then again i have to deal with street thugs/gang/political mass organization members demanding protection money 24/7, it's no-win scenario for me good lord.
@@simonchristian160there is no use in doing that. people suck. once you wake up and realize how much people suck, you don’t want to “go out and face your fears”.
@@kevinvillanueva137cope. you haven’t met even 1% of people. i’m sorry you feel that way but that’s your current experience and a harsh generalization. sitting at home won’t change that perception. go outside and explore what’s really out there
I was a construction guy building houses, hated it. Got a degree in computer engineering fron north Carolina state and them worked gor large corps doing phone system migration from analog to digital, hated it too. But bug difference was i now had 23k$ in student loan debt. IT work, is not fun. Long hiurs and low pay
Man its even more than just "skip college" . Even grades 6-12 are mostly pointless. Indoctrination camps. Most ppl should start specializing in a skill / trade at about 13 years old, invest your money, and retire by 30-35
college should be about taking the best and brightest minds in our society and honing them to make them better...now that everyone goes, they have to cater to the lowest common denominator and waters everything down to nothing
Your 🏆 Show Rocks 🎸🎼🎸🎸🎵🎵🎸🥁🎼🎵i 🎵have a A.A.S degree in communication & was a national certified Phlebotomist & a Class A commercial driver license & I have no Job,it's tuff in Alabama, but Good People are Here, but jobs are hard to get here, always have.my ambition was greater than my Talents, but mastering a trade is what,I really need to do that, now I want to Crochet, and needle 🧵 point it's an 🎨 Art Love Art😊 Many Blessings to All in Jesus 👑 name Amen 🙏🏽
Nothing wrong with going to college. Learn philosophy, computing, engineering and actually do something with it. Yes, it’s hard work, and there are many people who should not have gone to college; they’d have been better off learning a trade. But if you’re smart, motivated and organised, it’ll be the best thing you ever did. It’s not the going to college, it’s the unpreparedness; don’t blame others if you can’t make it work
If your name becomes the product inevitably you realize that you can’t say what you want anymore because every thing becomes a PR risk, and thus you fall back in to the system. Especially if the clientele are corporate sponsors.
For me in my 20’s to afford a house a year ago; I had to sacrifice way too much. And now that I HAVE the house; I continue to sacrifice almost everything to maintain “The American Dream” Instead of this insanely high mortgage, I could be traveling and seeing friends/family more often. Its all backwards nowadays
I am almost 40. Got good grades in highschool and in college. Grinder to get good grades and graduate to get a good job. Got my BA in Accounting. Got a good job. Now that I am awake to the world I wish I would have gone into a trade and learned to start a business. By the way I am still paying for my college tuition even though I make “good” money. Please be wise to your choices. If I knew then what I know now……
I think we also need to point out that not ALL trades are worthwhile in terms of pay. I learned CNC machining and programming on the job, when I started the higher paid dudes were making good money but now that I'm one of the higher paid dudes, the economy has gone to dog $hit and it's pretty meh income in comparison to other trades. Now I'm looking to get into plumbing or electric after wasting 12 years in this trade
Another great video. Btw I can understand you better in this video. Sometimes you tend to talk a bit fast and I have trouble hearing some words correctly. But you sound very calm in this video
My husband got a degree in Wildlife Biology in '93, he's a Game Warden making less than $65k a year. Our 17 year old son is a farm- hand and does landscaping... guess who is inching his way to making twice what dad makes??😅😅 Learn a trade. Mike Rowe is so correct. People don't want to do hard work anymore. AI probably isn't going to take over tradesmen jobs. AI will take over technological jobs.
Here's the catch. If everyone gets this same mindset, like digital nomads, there will be no comforts or infrastructure at some point lol. I have grown out of the herd mentality and love being somewhat independent. However, I also realize for society to function, there has to be people that are willing to bust their ass for things to get accomplished. Maybe we should have the mindset that many younger people should do manual work and seniors earns the right to use their wisdom and do less hard labor. I don't know but it isn't as easy as some make it out. Complex world.
What you were trying to describe is changing your position in the system, as long as you chase after that green fiat currency you will part of the system.
The only way out is to stop buying anyrhing that is not on clearance, keep a basis job, event something to make loads of money off, and spend your fun money on doing things, not buying things.
great video, i think you will find this documentary very interesting on youtube, The Century of the Self - Part 1: "Happiness Machines" Edward Bernays, invented the public relations profession in the 1920s and was the first person to take Freud's ideas to manipulate the masses. He showed American corporations how they could make people want things they didn't need by systematically linking mass-produced goods to their unconscious desires. a real eye opener.
Also, a few annoying rich people building their mansions on other peoples parking lot. Like, TF, you have to built that kind of stuff just because you have lots of money?
Dirty hands make clean money. Never let your kids forget that. Better to be a plumber or a hairdresser making 40k a year forever, than a drug dealer or thief, who makes 200k for a year and then is on welfare for the rest of their life.
Like your honest ,opinion.i agree, iam older, and came to the conclusion, that if,you can live simple, its best to move out of the country,i was born in calif.but now, consider the U.S. a failed, state.the system does not help or give hope to your future.
no get a trade I am a painter by trade, I am the guy Doctors hire and I made 4 times as much owning my business. Doctors we need, but like school teachers they don't make what you think. Lawerys don't make shit there first few years after passing the bar.
You don't know how the system works. People who get a lot of money DONT follow the system or they work for it. People in the middle are the ones who suffer. You have it bacmwards
Man, I've been saying it forever...you watch guys who have worked their whole lives busting their back to earn a living, then you watch some dork get paid to collect video games, then spends your cash to buy more video games...being a low vibration bum should not constitute a lavish living, but here we are
When you were born did you have to go and put gold in your mouth or did you just live free in the mystery of the planet why do you need money just go outside and take
University opened the world up to me. I used my degree to get international jobs where I met people from around the world, as a teacher in universities around the world. Without any real credentials you will always be limited to what your true potential is. Knowlege is power, yes. Where certifications, University degrees, and letters of recommendation from full tenor facilities open doors to the world. "Go to school" doesn't mean you have to work in a cubical. Quite the opposite actually. Consumerism is an addiction. That doesn't change until we leave the old way of thinking that has been programmed into all of us! Know they self, and know the universe.
Despite all the financial struggles I and my family faced, everything is finally falling into place! $47,000 weekly profit and riches I'll always praise the Lord
Elizabeth Regina Nelsen has set a precedent for others to follow. We cherish her here in the UK as she has been extremely helpful and made a lot of lives better.
You’re giving bad advice and giving the lazy excuses to not get to work. The vast majority of your audience doesn’t have the courage and discipline to stake out in their own without having a job (at least at first) to start making some money and developing skills. You’re giving them a fantasy only.
Which fantasy? Are you in touch with reality? I don’t think so. There’s literal kids making millions on social media platforms. There’s freelance opportunities, you can use your car to work. You can walk a dog and earn. You no longer have to clock in and punch a time clock, deal with coworkers or a boss. This is 2024 we live in a new day and age and it’s ignorant to deny it
If a person could make a literal living without needing to sacrifice their freedom and still have the ability to LIVE and ENJOY LIFE in their *_20's_* while making millions in doing so (RU-vidr, freelance, MLM, etc.) all with either a smartphone or can be apart of the gig economy, you can literally just drive and make money by itself for example, why would you do all that by going to work?? Especially when you can use time to increase your own skills thanks to the internet which can help you learn quite literally ANYTHING at the click of a button, why would we go to a brick and mortar job that's gonna not only take time to get too but be apart of our lives that we hate for the next 40+ years?? And STILL be BROKE AND OLD thanks to fulfilling someone else's bottom line?? Get the fuck outta here 😂
