This song brought hot tears to my eyes. I recently turned 70. I was blessed to have been married for 37 years to one of the most magnificent women who ever walked on this earth. She was not only my beloved wife but she was my best friend. I recently lost her and I held her hand as she died. I did not think I would be able to continue to live. This song expresses everything that I feel. I will never love again .... there is no one on this earth that could ever take the place of my best friend, the love of my life, my reason for living. I can’t wait to see her again!😢

I feel like she was singing my heartbreak..I lost my soulmate, my husband of 32 years to cancer last year, and not a day goes by where I don't wish he was still here, and even though he told me when he knew he wasn't going to make it, he said he wouldn't hold it against me if I found someone else one day, I can't imagine ever loving anyone again. It doesn't matter how much time passes, he was the other half of my soul, and when he died, that part of me that only belonged to him died too, and even though I have to say I am a widow now, I still feel like a wife. HIS wife. I still haven't seen this movie, and I don't know if I ever will, but this song? Shows the depth of Lady Gaga as an artist, and I heard she wrote it for someone who she was close to who had passed away, and it struck a chord so deep in Bradley Cooper, that they put it in the movie. What you see there when she performed it in the movie, she apparently did in one take because the emotion was raw and real. This is exactly what my grief feels like. 🥺💔

You really should watch the movie. Although it's a love story it tells her story of trying to become a singer while he was secretly battling his own addictions and demons. The ending was powerful and they lyrics will mean more. So sorry for your loss as well 🙏❤️

The first time I heard this song, I didn't have even watched the movie... Me and my husband was in a crisis in our married and I was thinking about to get divorced... When I heard this chorus, that definitly said everything I was feeling, because we were in love, but some problems were making us apart... We tried another time and restarted from the beginning, today I thank God so much because I'm so happy!! Living a healtly and full of love marrie!! I'll never forget this experience. I cry everytime I hear this, because makes me remember that worthed to fight for our love!! (sorry if I made any mistake writing, english is my second language)

My mom lost my dad when I was turning 2 years old, their youngest child. He died from a ship accident and she never loved anyone since then. I can still remember my mom crying so much to the point where she was throwing up. There are days when I think she is so stressed raising us up her three sons but she never gave up. She raised us well, provided our needs, and is the best mother. If I was given the chance to ever live again this life another round, I'll forever choose her as my mother. I love you, Mom!

When you hear her breathing between the words, you really feel that pain in her soul. That song is written with his and her whole heart. Edit: I know that the day she sang this song was the same day when she lost a dear friend. She was on sent and when he got a call that her friend is not okay she left immediately but she was late. Her friend had passed away like before 10-15 minutes when she arrived.

Unbelieveable! This song and the movie "A Star is born" is a emotional journey that lets you know that your alive. Everyone at some point unfortunately has or will experience the grief associated with loss. Sometimes you just don't feel that you can't go on. Reminds me of the day that I left visiting my Cancer ridden Mother in Syracuse NY when I knew I would never see her again… she died and broke my heart ❤on September 8th, 2011. I MISS YOU EVERYDAY Mom!!🥲 I had to drive back home to Pennsylvania knowing she was going to die… longest ride ever.

When Gaga was getting ready to film the final scene of A Star Is Born, where she sings "I'll Never Love Again", the singer got a telephone call that her childhood friend Sonja Durham was in her last moments of Stage IV cancer. Gaga left the set and drove to meet Durham, but she was late by ten minutes after her friend passed away. Durham's husband consoled her and asked to return for filming. The singer recalled that "[Sonja] gave me a tragic gift that day and I took it with me to set, and I sang that song for Jackson and for her on that very same day within an hour." Co-star Bradley Cooper was supportive about Gaga's loss but Gaga was adamant in finishing the scene. So she stepped on the set and sang "I'll Never Love Again".

I still really really really miss them, and to this day I’m still not the same. Honestly I think we’ve all lost someone from something unfortunate. If anyone reading this has lost someone recently, I want you to know that you are never ever alone. Don’t be afraid to talk to people about your grief. We’ve all been through it before and we’ve lost someone close to us. Sadly it’s part of life, and no one can control it no matter how hard we try. But I don’t think that our deceased loved ones would want us to grieve them. I think that they will want our memories of them to stay sweet. As hard as it is to do. Try to remember the good times you had with them, and try to celebrate their lives that were lived. Pain is only one small part of the relationship. Everything else is so much better, and it completely outweighs the grief of losing someone. The good memories of the person will last much longer than the pain will, but only if you let it. (And I think our deceased loved ones will agree that it’s better to remember the good times)
