I'll Never Love Again - LADY GAGA VS PUTRI ARIANI! 

Lady Gaga version is good with all elements on the scene. But Putri version is... oh my god... so deep and playing emotion a lot. Angelic heart melting voice.

Both are amazing with their version each other. But I feel that Putri version is so emotional sooo deep. Got me tears every time I listen it.

This is the first time I've heard Lady Gaga's original, having watched Putri's cover and reaction to it quite a few times... Lady Gaga definitely has a great voice and is very experienced, but I still prfer Putri's intimate cover... her stripped back cover with just piano (played by herself I believe, but in this case not live...) is more fitting for the theme of the song, the movie version production was a bit over the top for me... also with Gaga, great as her vocal control is, I didn't really believe her the emotion, but the first times I heard Putri I felt emotionally exhausted after it, she really manages to take me to that spot and makes me feel every word she sings... great performer and artist here, also her pacing is perfect and imo better than Gaga's... Absolutely Putri Ariani was singing that song incredibly, both is lovely singers….

Putri Ariani is so good at singing sad song. Her voice, her tone, her techniques will destroyed any other sad songs. She has natural beautiful breathy voice, she sing softly but also powerful at the same time. And her vocal cry is amazing..

Let's see. First video is a 30+ old singer singing accompanied by an orchestra/band and montage of scenes from the movie. I like this song and it is powerful song but the scenes from the movie and the backing music somehow distracts the viewer and it did not deliver the full emotional impact of the song as performed by Lady Gaga. Second video is a 14 year old blind girl that stripped the song bare to just vocals and piano (Putri played the piano, pre-recorded before her performance) and a black background. With her angelic voice she was able to deliver a more emotional, gut-wrenching performance than Lady Gaga. Just my two cents. I guess you don't like sappy songs too much. But I think Putri would sound great if she did a cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing". She has the vocal range to do it justice.

Lady's voice is through the production house while Putri's voice is live

Putri was only 14 years old when she sang this song, consider good already. Lady Gagal has a powerful voice full of feelings sounds like as if she was going through it at the time of singing. She is so good.

gaga has a big voice and it is hard for her to contain it, a little overpowered for this track. putri nails it and her delicacy is spot on to make it come across right. But yeah, hard for us metal heads to get with the program. For me it is definitely as a putri fan liking her singing more than the genre.

I think Gaga could’ve sang this song in the same way Putri did, but for whatever reason it was not. That being said I think Putri did add in her perfection and energy into every, single, note. Gaga is a powerhouse in her own right. If you love music then I suggest kindly, you so watch A Star is Born. You’ll really appreciate her after that.
