Hey, I get it. I'm an electrician from Pennsylvania. I build houses and even helped a neighbor build a mining room in their master bedroom. I also just recently put solar on my house and I had all kinds of issues with how they went on my roof. The township made me not able to fill the roof cause if there is a fire, the firefighters need to get on the roof. I was like, they can step on them if the house is on fire... but they said nope. It was a mess and now some panels are on the back of my roof and not doing anything... well, not doing much. Best of luck to you man, but let me know if you need an electrician.... HOA hold big powers, never ever do this in an HOA, even in Texas. Best to not live near neighbors and mine big rigs. Solar really sucks. Manufacturing solar panels creates a lot of heavy metal pollution which damages the environment. Solar panels are only good for about 18 years before they degrade so much that they need to be replaced. The break even point is about 11 years to 15 years so you barely make money before the panels have to be replaced. Solar energy is terrible for the environment. If you want to mine crypto responsibly, the best choice is hydro. The next best choice is nuclear because nuclear doesn't have a carbon footprint. Additionally, with nuclear, you take radioactive minerals that occur naturally in the earth, use up some of the radioactivity for power, and what you have left over is less radioactive than what you started with and you put this back in the ground and in the process you just cleaned up the earth by using up some of the radioactivity to generate power.
You have 50 acres of land and HOA is making that big a deal over building solar and your home build there? I think they are just mad that you are not using their builder (friends)
Here’s what you do then; build a nice house (but not something to crazy) then sell the house on the lot for a profit. If you’re in a good area and have a nice new built house one 50 acres then you should in theory be able to sell for a profit. You could then take that money and find a new plot and build your dream house/farm. Obviously this is just an idea and it might play out differently but it’s something to at least consider and talk to a professional about

I know a good HOA story. Some guy was being pressured by his HOA so out of spite volunteered his backyard to put up a radio repeater antenna, and the HOA couldn't do anything to take it down without awakening the FCC dragon.
With running water on your land you should install a few vortex hydro generators. Don't forget that you can also use the water as a heat sink for a heat pump to also keep the power cost down
Shitty neighbors are everywhere man, dealing with one now while trying to buy a house. Keep your head up and sometimes it's easier to just ask for forgiveness after the fact than beforehand. If it's worth it to you take them to court if you are going to win.

maybe you need to get away from trying to buy 50 acres, honestly you can achieve your goal and have plenty of space with half that, i had 11 acres and you can do a lot with that already. sometimes its best to make sacrifices to exactly what you are looking for

I bought a house in an HOA subdivision. We love the house, but yes you must kiss up to the HOA. Never again! We just bought a second house out in the country with 16 acres. It would be perfect for a solar mining project. Wish I could get you to manage the project for me.
Then you get a different problem, including neighbors who park 5 cars in front of their house and on the lawn because there is 12 people living in the house, or people letting their house go to crap, no mowed lawns, etc. There are downsides to both, but an HOA will keep your neighborhood to a certain standard through fines and penalties for those who don't comply.
@@MrFooSteven Since you're free to choose to live in an HOA community or not, you are free to make a choice. I currently live in a non-HOA community and when I move I will be looking for a neighborhood that has an HOA because of the aforementioned situations.

@@imho7250 I'm usually pretty quick at identifying scams and I have a tech background, but I'm new to mining & crypto. It took me a good ten minutes to conclude it was a scam - having a "genuine conversation" in comments must be pretty effective compared to traditional methods.

There was so much land in a wooded area. Your neighbors probably wouldn't even be able to see your house or the farm depending on where you put it. It's crazy that they had so much animosity towards everything.
Hi Vosk, you seem to be doing pretty well! If all that farm land is seriously where you may have extra space to putting solar, consider a small portion of that for possibly real farming as well. I think that would be a good investment along with crypto mining.
