Ive never gone searching for fertilizer but i have a big farm at all my villages. I agree that this is the best solution. Ive found that raptor and yeti get me the most but you will of course receive more items as well
Great content as usual. Fertilizer seems to be best acquired when u feed the animals. That means dropping berries, vines etc. in their vicinity. They will come to the spot, eat, and well do their thing
To get fertilizer, just feed an animal with something it likes and it should drop it when finished. It should drop it first try Edit: I am a noob so there's a good chance I could be wrong
Fertilizer is actually not too hard to find. It’s not the easiest item to acquire, but you can really easily get it from your villagers, or from finding some chickens, as chickens drop poop or fertilizer every here and there especially when they’re fed. So if you feed a chicken some vines, there’s a chance it will drop fertilizer, there’s also the chance of just finding a bunch of it on the ground near some chickens.
I tried to use vines to lure some chickens into a fenced off area once, but sadly they didn’t stay there because later when I came back to check on them they had either somehow escaped or I’m pretty sure they despawned and respawned somewhere else
I've experimented with putting camp fires under my floors. It provides light even through walls/flooring and if your in a cooler biom or even just night time in the desert, it keeps you warm. Hopefully this isn't old news and it's helpful information. 👌👍
You can get fertilizer by feeding animals vines. And I think the garden will look better without the foundations. Just have it on the ground. It just looks better and more natural that way. Great video as well! Giving me lots of great ideas 😀
To get fertilizer you just give vines / food to animals and they just poop fertilizer You can just destroy bushes in front of them and they’ll run towards it Also if you like give a stack of vines and then pet them they will give more resources, like not only one milk or eggs I heard, still haven’t test it + protect your garden cauze chickens eat the vegetables
To get fertilizer you have to get animals but you can also get villagers to get it in some jobs. You can also make a pen for animals but the problem with that is it will only last for the play session and it wont work after you leave the game and it is hard to get them into the pen
i had a really good luck on the seed of my map, my main village is really close to a lot of animal spawns, so just by walking near them a day, i normally get like 10 ~ 20 fertilizers. my village has a lot of farms 'cause of that lol. btw, loving to see this serie, i really like lego fortnite and watching your videos help me know what to do on my world. keep up with the hard work, kaz!
To get fertalizer i chop down bushes around animals, they eat the vines and berries as you cut them. Collect the wood, they will drop extra wool, milk, or eggs and fertilizer! Tada 🎉
I have been farming in Lego Fortnite a lot and my best trick to get fertilizer is to feed animals food (Stuff like vines, peppers, raspberries, etc) the animal will waddle on over to the food (My best choice is vines), (you can tell if they notice if they have a white exclamation mark on their head) and eat the food, they will then walk away and eventually produce fertilizer. The best part is is that you canrepeat the process infinitely! Love the content! ❤
The BEST method of obtaining fertilizer is by harvesting crops that drop vines(pumpkins,wheat, spicy peppers. Etc) chickens literally spawn and head straight towards the crops after you harvest them. You should not make raised beds, so that the chickens can eat the dropped vines. When the chicken eats the vines it either drops an egg, or fertilizer. I have grand chests full of fertilizer using this strategy.
Set your video settings to LOW on everything. That will remove the grass animations. Then you will see the fertilizer all over the place. I struggled with it for a while then saw a video about how low settings and view distance set to NEAR removes the grass in battle royal so you can see people better. Anyway makes it easy to see fertilizer
Hey Kaz if you feed groups of animals seeds or vines they drop multiple wool, milk, or eggs and also drop fertilizer after eating. If you go around feeding each group you should get 2-5 fertilizer with each group. Good luck farmer👨🌾
A good way to get vines is the gardening glitch. You put down a seed and then hit it with your sword and it instantly gives you the fruit (or whatever you planted) and 2 vines. You take that seed put it in a grain mill and it doubles and duplicates over time. 2 seeds, 4 seeds, etc. Also the vines add up big time. You can even put 30 seeds down and swing your sword 30 times to get all 60 vines and 30 seeds, then do it again with the grain mill. I have to full grand chests with stacks of 50 of the snowberries with this method
Kaz, maybe you already know this. But I think for Berries (anything that’s a bush), at least for my world, you only need one seed and it will for some reason continue to grow berries. So you don’t have to put all your seeds in one. Try it out!
This is true. I put one in each and its been giving me berries for a month! Literally no point of having more than 1 stack of each to hoard. I think some like corn are different - stopped farming when Beef Boss came to my village and then I chained him to the grill. Poor guy is starving but gives me 20 of each item every day.
#Kaz theres a trick for infinity soil glitch once ur plants have fully grown build up bit then build a floor over them and destroy the floor or use wall place it next to the soil and breack the wall so it falls on the soil
You can find fertilizer by finding a big group of animals and you can get quite a bit of fertilizer I got 36 pieces and tell villagers to collect near by resources I time I got 10 fertilizer
Also the best way to mine is bring planks & blast kegs with you in caves. You can build a boom barrell in the wall right next to ore and then shoot it with an arrow it will explode the barrel and harvest all the ore at once
feed animals, they poop, plant a seed, harvest seed, break only the soil and you get the resources back and crop stays and regens, just make sure you harvest it atleast once before breaking, you can also replant into the soil and the berrys and other stuff will grow together. I have a garden thats legitamately the size of a city
Fertilizer comes from herds of animals such as sheep or cows and sometimes chicken. If you feed them vines they’ll give you lots of the items the produce and leave you some fertilizer if you wait a second or go near the herd! Hope this helps. 5:46
Hey Kaz, I realized your other villages and the villager beds might be bugged because theyre not built on those specific foundation blocks. Try putting those foundation blocks down first, and then you can build on top of that
To get tons of fertilizer, drop stacks of vines near cows and chickens. They will drop either their food items or fertilizer. Basically any area with animals spawned should have some, but dropping like a stack of 50 vines will guarantee they drop some.
That thumbnail made me believe they RESET all our worlds and we have to start ALL over... You broke my heart for a good few minutes thinking my world is complete gone and all this work you have done is gone as well. For fertalizer I just randomly follow animals every now and then. Pet them grab what ever they drop wait for them to poop and go on my way. Feeding them vines MIGHT (idk) make them poop faster.
I had a fairly easy time farming fertilizer in the Dry Valley biome since there are so many chickens out there and it was easier to see the fertilizer on the ground in the desert. Happy hunting. 👍
I really hope they bring a method of item repairs with the update. The game is blast but items breaking still kills it for me. Fortunately, with your sword trick I’ve been able to keep building and farming wood without having to deal with it!
They also need to area mark for chest with mat the you can build without need to have the mats in the bag but in the chest close to the build area or better inside the base area
Drop vines and fruit for cows to eat and then they will poop out the fertilizer it’s very easy to get but it should be Blue - Rare.. you can also get it from your villagers. Hayseed is especially good at getting it he handed me 15 pieces last time
If you pet an animal and get their resource, and then pet them again they usually poop after. Especially if you feed them. You can hear a pooping animation, atleast from the chickens and just chill with them and let them poop all over and pick them all up. You could box them up but then they will end up despawning after you log out, unfortunately
For fertilizer, pet the animal, they will drop their loot, then a minute later, they will poop. Also, if you feel them vines, they will poop up a storm..... so...a sh*t storm. LOL😂
Fertilizer: Your villagers can get you like 100 pieces if they get seeds/ collect nearby resources ?? I think? My villagers get me a ton/ feeding animals 50 vines every time
I send my villagers to “collect nearby resources” and they bring fertilizer. I always have 1-2 chickens running around my crops and they constantly drop fertilizer
A tip for fertilizer: most animals will eat vines or wheat grain and if you feed them they sometimes poop, its a good strat if you’re trying to build a garden like you did in this video, but like everything else it still takes some time and grinding
I must be lucky, 90% of my butterflies have brought me to a llama. Every morning at one of villages a butterfly appears and takes me to a llama. Grasslands only tho. Butterflies take you to lots of amber and malachite in the other biomes
You can sort of make the natural paths but it is tedious to do it, prebuilds remove the grass and leave dirt patches which can be used to make the paths, if you place a prebuild then destroy the foundations dont need to actually build it
CHICKENS are IDEAL for FERTILISER.. You need some CHICKENS and hive them vines. So I would like to tip that to have chickens going around in the town can be quite charming 👍
give food or vines to the animals, that should do the trick. Great videos btw, you make me wanna improve my villages.... but then i get lazy and they stay shit as always... but good to see what could it be like 😅
