Why not build the platform in which the one block is out of stone? It won't burn, keep the water trap but make a stone box around it, it may not be very pretty. But either that or live with the risk of the entire thing going ablaze

At your new main island with trap thingy, I consider making the trap 1 or 2 block towards your house cuz the mobs are faster than you punching them, so it's easier to punch them then running away for safety and forgetting why you build that trap

I really enjoyed all the hardcore videos when you build homes for a bunch of animals like when you built the axolotl island, or the goat habitat, maybe you could do the same for sniffers or camels, or just any other animal. You never disappoint us!😊

Hey cookie god i have an idea for you!for the striders give them a home but their home must be lava like the floor has to be lava so they don't shake basically if they are shaking they are cold so the floor has to be lava so they can be uhmmm lets say "warm" so the house would be nether theme but you have 2 right? Bcus i remember their was 2 so the remaining strider alive make sure to give it a room!! Hope this tip helps

Very entertaining video. I put a cobblestone box around mine and then mined behind a gate and had a wall behind me and it really helped. I like the torch idea though and will do that too. Also, golems are great at killing those flying little vexes. I named mine Buddy and I run to him and he kills the vexes. which is so handy.

You should add a glass roof next to the regeneration block, incase of blazes fly up and stuff. For a extra reason, you should add hoppers beneath the fences when you kill the mobs that was trapped by that water ( the 1 block trap area ).
