You did well with the red cow. The lone herdsman has to develop methods and strategies to get it all done and you seem to always pull it off. I like the gate only calves can walk through. Good video. Pax.

Not a bad looking set of weaning calves

Cattle are looking good. Little grain and tlc should fix the cull cow calves. Was watching a Registered Longhorn sale the other day 5 and 6 figures for bulls, heifers and bred cows. Was impressed by the numbers. Those longhorns you have could be a side hussel per say. 😊

Ooops! That poor bovine! That cold “mud pack” was not appreciated that autumnal day. Sometimes, a second or third person might be beneficial in your cattle round-ups. Damn You Tube……injecting ads of crap that I will refuse to buy! Monthly wireless cost is paying enough. The clanking and squealing metallic sounds adds to the mystery in their minds of, “Where are we going? What’s happening?” Isaac, thanks for the digital recording and congrats on the ones who cooperated.

You are amazing taking care of all those cows all by yourself. And you seem to work so hard but you get it done. Even working a full time job, and not always on the farm the cows seem to be doing well, and you always make sure there are no issues with them but if you see something you address it right then to get it fix or treated.

Things are moving ahead! Keep it up! Keep Smilin!!!!

Surprised you didn't secure those two fence panels for securing the calves instead of just leaning them up against the original fence. Little bit of twine or wire and 5 minutes of time would have been enough. Also, I guess it makes it tougher to handle cattle when making RU-vid videos, since you are limited to the gentler, kinder, politically correct way of doing things:) While it may be more palatable for the viewers, it increases the chances of you being injured, especially when working alone. Having a little voltage at your disposal, could be handy if things suddenly go south.

You shouldn’t own any cattle or any animals your equipment is junk.
