I'm watching this in my studio..pretty loud too..and at 35:06 that plane that flew over your place scared the focking sh!t outta me!!! Love your set up man!
Just bought Robot Dog Drums, watching this while it installs. Sorry to hear about your studio space! Also, where can I get me one of those RBD studios stickers I see 👀
Thanks so much for your order! Don't worry, I'm building a new studio as we speak 😁 I think I've got your address, I'll send you a sticker!! Enjoy RDD! -Ryan
Awesome studio tour! Too bad you couldn't keep that location. I have those same BX5a's and I am curious what type of subwoofer do you use for yours? Can you, please, give me some specifics like the size of the speaker, wattage, crossover settings, maybe even the model? I'm trying to add a sub to my pair of BX5a's and would love to know how you did this. Thanks so much!
Thanks! It's all good. I finally have a new space. I primarily use a Yamaha HS8 subwoofer in my mix room at home, but I also have a $200 Monoprice 10in 200W sub that I put in my new studio. Unfortunately I don't think you can get that sub from Monoprice anymore. It was a little overpowered for the BX5s but it totally worked. As far as crossover settings, you'd really have to experiment in your room and find your preference. Trust your ears! I believe I generally run the subs pretty full range. The trick is setting the level to where you hear everything you need to hear without fooling yourself that you have more lows in your mix than you actually do. Hope all that helps! Thanks so much for watching!
@@RobotDogStudio Best not to click bait like that as it's real for some of us. I got f***** by some people over and over till I lost everything. I fought for ages to try and hang on but it's all gone now. Can't tell you how awful it all is.There's some really bad people out there. Stay safe and good luck with the new space it looks really nice.
