that was funnier than any I Love Lucy show I ever saw......ILC is THE funniest show ever. Keenan was and is a brilliant producer, writer, etc. going today. Clever beyond words.

I think you’re missing the point…it’s not insulting Lucy, rather peoples perceptions of the show If you asked most people at the time about Lucy, they’d say recall the tonic episode, or Ethel and Lucy in the chocolate factory…but not much else! Plus by then the (wrong) stereotype of Lucy was her acting like a spoilt 5 year old and going wahhhhhh! whilst Desi rolled his eyes and said “Llllluuucccyyy” in an exasperated tone Completely wrong but like the Im-POSSibly st-ac-ca-to thenrunningyourwordstogether Shatner impressions it had become the accepted image of the original Not the reality
