An oldie but a goldie here from way back in MBMBaM's Ep 295 when the McElboy's discussed this man's staunch admiration for his v e r y tall wife. With a Lady Dimitrescu twist, because I don't think I had a choice.

Tall woman get waaaay to much guff. My long-term girlfriend is 6ft tall. She is a teacher and when she mentioned to her students offhandedly about having a boyfriend they all begin imagining some huge athlete not average hight me. What the heck is so wrong with liking a tall lady that so many people think that no guy would do it?

The reality is that most women prefer that their partner be taller than them. Therefore, usually guys will only approach women shorter than them to lower odds of rejection. There’s a smaller pool of guys who might ask them out so they get approached less.

Just like guys and everyone else in the world they like different people from different heights and everything else and when people push this tall girl problem it makes it harder for those who are tall and those who are dating tall people due the these jokes and myths.

it breaks my heart to know that he absolutely did mean 3" because if he did mean 3' then as travis pointed out there is mathematically no way for that not to mean he isn't short for his demographic (and, lbr, in general) and therefore used to girlfriends being much taller than him

There is certainly a vast gulf between one apostrophe and two. This has to be a typo, otherwise the only situation where this is possible is the man is a little person with some form of dwarfism, and she’s a basketball player.

@@DeepBlueInk Hey my bad, I missed any notification for this reply, the YT algorithm brought this video back up for me. ArtCrawl is something Imgur does every year (I think.) Use the hashtags when you upload an artwork, and Imgur awards some prizes, I’m not sure what. But by happenstance I followed a link to Imgur 3 months ago from a post of Facebook or Twitter and spent some time browsing the submissions, which led to me going into a general rabbit hole of art on Imgur. It was time well spent, because I not only found the gem that is your art work, but also found that one of my favorite podcasts had been animated and I didn’t know. (Unfortunately, other obligations have pulled me away from listening to podcasts for awhile, this has reminded me what I’m missing, and gives me a chance to enjoy some of it in the limited time I have. So, thank you 🙏🏼)

Now, I have to sometimes work with excel to re-create documents, so I know well how tedious this programm can be if not used for spreadsheets (and even _when_ used for spreedsheets) So the moment I saw the screen with the question put up in EXCEL, all the air immediately evacuated my lungs in a surprised wheeze. I rarely can't breathe bc I'm laughing too hard, but just the- just the WORST possible software to put something like this into, with the way the cells and words are formatted, it caught me SO off-guard (holy cow, you even have the cells fitted to the words - did you actually make that in excel just for the bit? Bc that is some Next Level commitment) That's such a small thing in the video, but that made my day And also that the lady has to sit with her legs spread out bc the table is too short Edit: a male friend of mine routinely gets roasted by me for so obviously wanting a tall woman to step on him lmao (I mean, I can relate, so it's all in good fun), he wants a lady who could beat his ass if she so wished - so to any tall ladies who've gottan shit for their height from men, don't give up hope!
