@@GMDdak2014Kind of hard to play a game where they update only every 4-5 months. I could play 10 new games in that time frame. Not my fault there’s not enough people working on the game but people only play games that are constantly updated. People love weekly updates. or even every couple weeks.

Thats the fun part of the game. I played phasmo since its release and I would say it took me about 50 hours to not get sweaty palms playing all on my own. Once you understand the mechanics of the game (when can you be hunted, where do I have to go in an emergency) the game loses a big chunk of its scariness. For the beginning just force yourself to go inside. But you really Need to learn about all the ghost types. There are now so many, I Imagine it can be a bit overwhelming For newer Players. A bit of advice is just watch older insym Videos, youll see he used to be Crazy scared too and have a cheat sheet for ghosts, so you can learn the characteristics on the go. For example get 2 evidence and try to get the ghost by looking at the behaviour.

Yup, don’t play with headphones you won’t hear that white noise, you. Can change the spirit box settings to text without having to speak or having a mic. I’d also recommend listening to music if you do wear headphones. It kept me away from phas for so long til those changes were made.

@@rbnzoomI gave 330+ hours and it still scares me. I hate the mist events so much. They’re so loud especially since I’m on the spectrum and have much more heightened hearing

Stay on less creepy maps. I think willow house is creepy as shut cuz of the basement, tangle field and the small camping map are the best for getting desensitized.

Make sure when you do play w audio. Don’t have it turned up to hear the white noise put ur audio at the point where you can barely hear that empty noise sound. The events are much quieter at the level of volume too

CPU?

I still get around 80-100FPS on 1440p max with a RX 7600 and Ryzen 5 2600. Your FPS shouldn't be that low for sure. Is your FPS capped in Nvidia control panel or the game? That's the first thought that came to my mind, but it could be something else like the CPU like mistadude said.

The game is not the best when it comes to optmization. I am blessed enough to rock a 4090 and it can drop into the 90's at times.

@@mistadude i7-13700K I also have 64gbs of ddr5 ram, I don't know how games like ready or not and codmw3 2023 get higher fps than phasmo on Dlss performance

You have to manually turn it on. It also takes time to work when you’re in the dark.
