Hi there. Thank you so much for your courage in expressing your obviously controversial appreciation for strong vocals, harmonies and abs. Lily has always been a standout and I’ve seen a few people talking about Bae this time around but for me it seems that Kyujin is insistent on my attention. They are all so talented and enjoyable it doesn’t really matter. There are no weak links!! (See what I did there?)
I like that! ⛓️ and it's true I'm super courageous lol. I don't know all of their names yet but in the second half of the reaction I definitely did recognize Kyujin! Specifically that she's got range - she is definitely impressive!
Jiwoo is it for me!! Such a unique, high pitched, whiny voice! Kyujin is great but it still weirds me out that she's so young 😆 Like Kyujin is younger than my little sister haha! At least Jiwoo is as old as my sister 🤣
Run for Roses sounds like a battle anthem. I just heard it this weekend and must’ve replayed 100 times. The fact that NMIIXX is the only girl group I know of that sings all their songs live sets them apart from the rest. Their confidence, talent and conditioning are on another level. They are the standard.
This album is so good! Like SOOOOOO GOOD! Run for Roses is my favorite!!!!! I play it at work and my coworker actually gets upset if it plays when she's not in the room so we do what we have to and hit replay!!! I freaking love Soñar too!!!
SO GOOD. I don't know if you follow me on twitter but I was trying all day to post this and YT was blocking the video. I was so upset because it was specifically trying to block Run for Roses and I was like "No, I HAVE to include that so I can talk to people about it" lol and thankfully one of my awesome subscribers helped me get around it. Long story short I agree with you lmao it's incredible and I will also be playing it many many times. Second half of the album coming tomorrow!
The one with the abs is Haewon, who is besides Lily the most outstanding vocalist (she just doesn't show off that much ;-)) among a bunch of extremely good vocalists, and also happens to be the leader of the gang. For reference, in Run For Roses thumbnail and final shot, from left to right: Sullyoon, Haewon, Lily, Jiwoo, Kyujin, Bae. Rap parts are usually from Jiwoo and/or Kyujin.
Really enjoying your reaction, just by afew video and you nailed it it Lily Vocal is truly a class of her own, her tones really is pretty unique Jiwoo is the one who own it when she turns into swagger mode, she just had that attitude to her own If you can, do react to their individual Lee Mujin Service to enjoy what they can really deliver interm of vocal capability 1) Lily 2) Haewon 3) Sullyoon 4) Bae 4/6 members already attended that show, this proof how strong they are
Nice Reaction. I love, that they now got 3 consecutive music show wins (Show Champion, MCountdown, Music Bank) and always slay the live encore. Probably some of the best vocals in the current gen.
Dash and Run For Roses, total fan, both are great songs that I instantly loved without even knowing who NMIXX were. Soñar has grown on me despite initially thinking it was just okay. Overall I love what they've done even if I'm still clueless as to who they are 😅
There was a really great It’s Live performance of Run for Roses that was released before the performance video & had a pleasant fellow who helped compose it accompanying them (probably a famous idol but idk). Those Live performances are tough to react to without blocking, though, so that might be for your personal enjoyment. Once again, thanks for being brave and saying you enjoyed the music. Someone had to say it but I’m just glad it didn’t have to be me.
Hahaha I'll always be here to speak truth to power and declare that talented artists are good, you can count on me. 😆 I did try to do an it's love for XG and RU-vid threatened to kill me but I will check it out I bet these ladies are amazing live (again, I'm so brave).
@@ChainReactionsChannel ooh both the XG It’s Live were so good. RU-vid has tightened up around that property compared to a few years ago, so it gets hard to track. I know it can make it very difficult to decide where to spend the limited resource of your time and attention. This is why we see a lot of people branching to Patreon and Twitch. Those obviously add their own layers of complexity but I’m seeing a lot of people make that decision. Totally separate topic, the Le Sserafim teaser today was intriguing. Not sure if it was on your radar?

Were you the reactor that said you had only seen Rollercoaster before watching Dash? If so, I'm so glad you are reacting to their other work. They have such a diverse discography - not afraid of any genre and mixxing them up. You should watch the Sound BOMB 360 version of Run for Roses...they really play with it so comfortably and it's just insane to see what they can do live.
Yes! I did roller coaster way back and I thought it was fun/cute but nothing like these! I'm also really glad I checked this out. Some of my mutuals on Twitter were talking about it I think and here we are!
I loved the mini album, the special physical version is great, they are very talented although they also receive a lot of unnecessary hate, but I love them, I love their sound, I recommend you check out their previous songs!

I think you're talking about my ITZY albums right? I am still waiting for the versions I bought directly from the ITZY store. 😭 I was planning on trying an unboxing or something but I'm worried too much time has passed lol. I would be happy to share what I have though at a certain point! It's not much but I do hope to build a nice collection I think this is a cool idea!
@ChainReactionsChannel dang that sucks, yeah sorry I was just wondering. Personally I love watching unboxing videos as I have just started collecting some gidle albums. But, when they come I definitely will tune into the video.
Loved your reaction, especially your honesty when the songs are too stereotypical (EDM Techno Pop), it bores you, as it should. One thing about Nmixx that really sets them apart from the rest is that listening to the album is just the beginning. Frankly I'm not a Kpop fan, but these girls are different, just try any Stage Performance, It's Live or Sound 360 performances and you'll understand that at their core they are performers. Besides Mamamoo I don't know any Kpop group that can do what Nmixx does, they are fearless, absolutely talented and the most important thing is they LOVE what they do and it shows. So really, try any live performance, they are not afraid to change the songs and quite often an average song like Party O Clock becomes a masterpiece (It's Live performance). Oh my god, i love this whole mini album, this is my favorite comeback of theirs. Also, i always love your reactions but this one got me a bit more than the others, i think it's maybe because i find it really attractive when men know stuff about music haha 😂. Anyway, at this moment Run for Roses is my favorite song, but Boom is climbing fast.
