this is one of the anime that i absolutely love the comedy, unlike the other anime that are some "too much", "too less", "akward" and etc, be prepared for it because the comedy is well balanced and i really love it and how that fit nicely when mash being badass too, because some anime tend to ruin a moment on the "comedy" part but this one i absolutely love it

The name Mashle is made well. cream puff is pronounced likeシュークリーム（shoocream) and his hairstyle is mash and muscle sounds ldifferently in Japanese. His name derived from all those three.

I just started watching the series too! It's sooo good, but I think half of the humor comes from the fact that this show is basicly Harry Potter 😄

Well, I dropped the series after reading first chapter, and later read more out of boredom and got hooked by chance. I just found it too braindead that he doesn't have clue how to open a door. It gets better!

Don't listen to others Neel. I'm not even crazy about Black Clover but I do watch it. Everyone has their own special Anime they hold dear regardless of it's trash or great(according to others unnecessary opinions). Take my favourite Gundam franchise for example, my introduction to Gundam is Gundam Seed. And guess what? So many people being critical about it. But I don't care, cause it's hold dear to my heart and it's my childhood Gundam anime just like Dragon Ball. In short, everyone have preferences in lives. Just be respectful.
