I love Dr. Stone as well....Senku is the man

Episode 11 is my favorite because of Suika getting her glasses. I remember once I saw the segment of it and the comments section had some comments of octometrists saying how happy the kids were when they got their prescribed glasses, also of parents telling how their kids reacted for being able to see the world more clearly. I also like the official introduction of Kaseki, the Master Roshi of craftsmanship. Is something common in the anime, while in other media old people are kind and weak, in anime old people are ripped. As a side trivia, the animators of Dr. Stone actually did some of the experiments that are done in the anime, they actually took a glass blowing course in real life to animate Kaseki working with glass perfectly.

I like this episode because it show that despite often seeming superhuman, Senku does still have fear in him. He knows exactly how dangerous what he's trying to do is, and he trembles, but overcomes that.

Dr. Stone is like 90% goofy scenes and 10% some of the most inspiring shit I've ever seen in anime. I just love the way it earnestly celebrates humanity and science.

Hii, new fan here! Just finished catching up with your reactions, I will probably be commenting on every one of your Dr stone reactions from now on cuz I am obsessed with this anime lol

Honestly, Kaseki is a bit of a genius in his own right. This man watched Senku and Chrome try and fail at glassblowing a single time and immediately figured out how to do it almost perfectly, despite learning that glass was even a thing just a minute prior. This is probably what I love about Dr. Stone the most. For all of his smarts, Senku is limited to not just what he can do with his own physical ability, but also his lack of experience. The glassblowing is actually a great example of this. Senku knows what glassblowing is and even knows all the right steps to take. And yet, he can’t get the glass to form the way he wants to despite knowing everything he needs to know because he’s simply never had to do it before. He’s inexperienced. This is where Kaseki comes into play. His decades of experience as a craftsman allows him to quickly figure out what Chrome and Senku are doing wrong in their glassblowing attempts just by watching them try it once, and then successfully do what they are trying to do with relative ease. All of this reinforces the idea that if Senku didn’t have the humility to recognize his own shortcomings and tried to do everything himself, he wouldn’t have gotten very far.

What Kaseki said about fear is true. Fear is something natural to feel, no one is immune to it, and it is what allowed all creatures to survive. Also, there's a clear difference between being brave and being stupid like Ginro said, having no fear is stupid, face your fears is brave.

I almost dropped the anime in earlier episodes coz I can't stand taiju, but after he's gone and we're reaching ishigami village and meeting alot new characters, it became much more enjoyable and becoming best anime for me. Oh yeah, everytime suika appears my heart melts ❤😂

The joke with Kinro and Ginro is their names literally translate to "Gold" and "silver".
