Word game?! I click! Reto sassing the tutorial skull immediately? I like! Edit: I think witchyface's skill might be Zap, because there was an enemy trying to give you a Z. But I definitely want to see more of this!

this is super creative, big fan only being able to use one word at a time (as far as i know) really makes you *feel* like an amnesiac ghost returned to an unholy semblance of life

This game looks insane. I wonder if it’s using any form of AI. It comes across as something that AI would ACTUALLY be useful for. Like using some kind of AI to give more variety to the types of answers it can give to all kinds of various things you could say to it. If not, then I’m wildly impressed so far. If yes, then I’m still wildly impressed so far. I want to see AI advanced and used in this kind of way- making games feel more interactive- instead of seeing more AI art.

Maz is a Bard which also do vocals not just instruments. Yell being it for him makes sense.

These types of games with voices and you can type anything always makes me think what their repertory is and if its dubbed to react to certain words

Reminds me of the magic system in the SORCERY! Fighting Fantasy style books where you had 3 letter Spells and had to remember what they were without going to back of the book and reading the spells (if you played the hard way)

That's exactly what I thought, I'm a little surprised he didn't run through all the letters after trying like 5 of them. Having additional party members with skills seems like it'd be critical in case joro gets killed.

I'm very intrigued by this. I will say, however, that the questions about not being dead...it's a failing of the game that the questions are those which can be answered by anyone who had been alive on the...let's call it primer material plane.

The pacing of the voice would drive me nuts. Way too slow. I understand they are going for a creepy vibe, but I don't have the patience for that.

Aside from the occasional pause or emphasized word, it's a pretty normal pace. If it was too fast, it would be difficult to hear.

I think it only seemed slow because Reto had the subtitles turned on. I think the game’s much better with them turned off as the voice acting is so good it’s better to hear the lines delivered than read them.

@@BdaLimey I agree. I watched your playthrough last night and enjoyed it a lot more. I guess reading the subtitles is a lot faster, , so it made the speech seem slow. It did seem a bit more extreme than in other games with subtitles but you're probably right
