Dear true Christians not nominal ones! We love our Lord for what he did for us. But very often some of us don't love people around us. Sometimes i do the same! I'm sinful and i try to do my best to change this. I really meet the Christians who go to church services and think only of their own prosperity. They don't love people. HE gave him a mirror so whenever he feels like he needed JESUS again but still hesitating, he can look at the mirror because JESUS' face will be seen there, awlays there for him, always watching over him, always waiting whenever he feels like coming back.
Maybe this was a way for God to reach out to you. I see that even though you're not christian you're not extremely opposed to the religion. God reaches out to us in different ways, He wants to connect with us and show us the light, and bring us on a path to everything good. @@jsavagetooreal are you better yet? I've been very depressed, suicidal and angry for half of my life. I have tried to pray to God but never got an answer and felt left alone. But one day I swallowed my whole pride entirely and prayed to god again, saying "I can't live this life so I give it in your hands and you'll live it for me". While praying that way I suddenly started to feel incredibly happy and loved. Since that day I started to believe in God and Jesus christ and I've never ever felt depressed like that again. My life has become so much better. I didn't have a job, a good connection to my family nor many friends. Today I have everything. It took me a long time to find God because I've always been to proud to accept his help but now that i finally live my life with him, it's the best thing ever. Never stop praying. I agree with you, that God is everywhere. But I don't think thats why Jesus tells us to "lift up our heads". We can choose what we focus on... what we think about. We can stare at the ground, and all we will see is the mud, trash, and grime of this world. But we can also choose by faith to look up toward heaven. Look up to where Jesus lives forever. Where his throne sits, as the Sovereign King of the entire universe. We can look up in hope for our future reward, our inheritance that will never perish or fade away. We can look up and in our heart's eye, see Jesus coming back for us, to rescue us and defeat death forever. When we look up and fix our eyes on Jesus... God reminds us that the troubles of this world are almost over. Our redemption is drawing near. We will live forever with Christ ☀️

Oh guy how I understand you.. I suffer everyday of my life. My brother has always been cruel with me ( he gives me pressure, always wants to quarrel , always insult me) and my mother has never showed me her love. I don't exist, I am nothing for her... my parents are separated and my dad went to china when I was 4 years old. I don't have a good relation with him as well. I suffer and I cry everyday, my pain is horrible and I have no friends.. I am always alone and I have nobody to confort me.. my nightmares are all the same. I live this fucking life since my childhood and I wanted to kill myself when I was about 8 but I didn't do it coz I always had a strenght in my heart that told me to be hopeful.. I pray God and I don't want to give up my faith coz I know God see our heart and our soul... Guy life is not easy at all.. our path is full of obstacles but we can overcome it thanks to our faith..
